Eyebrow & Facial Threading

Alpa was great with my daughters. She taught them a lot on what NOT TO DO. They are happy with their first threading. On the way out my 13 year old daughter said we are definitely coming back here for now on.. My 18 year old said her eyebrows are on FLEEK! Thanks Alpa for reshaping their brows! We will be coming back for sure!

I was heading back to Kentucky from myrtle beach on vacation and really needed to get my brows and lips done. When I moved from San Francisco almost 2 years ago, I had trouble deciding where to have my eyebrows done. For over a year and a half, I loved going to brow lounge to get them waxed. Over time, I started realizing I was losing my arch, my hairs at the end of my brow were sparse, and that one arch was higher than the other. Yikes. Although I loved going there, I needed a change.
Her store is in a house right next to Cookout. So easy to find. Her studio is located at the back of her house. It is very clean and professional. She is very accommodating to your schedule and is as sweet as can be! Her prices are so reasonable. Just make sure you bring cash!
I had a bad experience in the past with eyebrow threading in California. HOWEVER, after one session with Alpa, she has forever changed my views about threading. Alpa made sure I was comfortable and kept checking to see if I was okay. I did not have any problems during the session! She listened to what I wanted and restored my beautiful arched brows. I’ve had many people come up to me asking where I get them done. Needless to say, I will no longer be going to have my eyebrows waxed. Theading with Alpa gave me the precision I wanted! She has mastered the art of eyebrows. I recommend her to everyone.

Alpa is the best!!! I am very skeptical of letting anyone thread my brows much less my face unless I am in NYC with the older Indian woman who is really great. Today on a visit to Greensboro I was looking to see if there was anyone great and trusted the Unilocal reviews to go pay a visit to Alpa! WOW! She is meticulous, gentle, the best brows you will ever have. She made comfortable immediately after got past the fact that her studio is on her screened in back porch behind her house. Very quaint so don’t let that bother you, Alpa made me so comfortable and happy. I will be loyal and wait until I am in Greensboro for my threading.

Alpa is perfect! Perfect at threading and being a wonderful person. I have been in the beauty business for my whole adult life and have never met anyone better at brows than her. She does both mine and my daughters brows. We could not live with out her!

She does a decent job. Her hand is a little heavy for my liking, but I’ve had both gentler and harsher threading experiences. I do have to say that the whole experience wasn’t very comfortable because as soon as I walked in her house, her husband started hard selling me on the business. This was basically the opposite of relaxing which is a large part of what you want in a hair removal appointment.
I’ve only been one time, yet I’ve received about 4 reminder texts from her every few weeks soliciting another visit. That’s too much selling.
Quality service always sells itself. Anything additional has the reverse effect.

Alpa is amazing! Alpa is so sweet and nice. She takes her time which makes the process almost pain free. I’ve been to a couple of places in Greensboro and Charlotte and nobody can compares to her. Once I come back to Greensboro I’m definitely going back to Alpa.

My eyebrows look amazing. Moving from Los Angeles to Greensboro I didn’t think I would find someone to do my eyebrows and she did a great job. She didn’t hurt me at all. I took my mom she loves her eyebrows. I definitely will be back. Park on the grass and go around back. Great business outta her home.

I found this wonderful eyebrow threaded after months of trying to keep them up myself after relocating back to Greensboro from Los Angeles. I had grown them out for several weeks before deciding it was time to get them professionally shaped and this was the best decision ever. She took her time and made them look wonderful!

I have rather difficult eyebrows, so finding a good eyebrow threader is important to me. I just moved from Miami where I stayed for years with this lady who people drove from all over the city to get their eyebrows done… and I have to say Alpa made my transition easier! I was worried I wouldn’t get as good of a service here, but Alpa really understands eyebrows. Just ask her and she’ll do it for you. I told her about how thick I wanted it and the kind of shape I wanted and she listened. She really took her time on the finished product and getting to know me as well. She told me that since I plucked it on my own a bit before she needed me to grow certain little bitty parts out to get the shape I wanted in the long run and that’s when I knew she was trustworthy. Most eyebrow people just clean and go!
I went at ten in the morning to her little shop. You’re supposed to park in the grass. I knocked on the door and she told me to head back. Her shop is closed off from the rest of her house so it felt really professional to me even though it was her home. It was very clean and the light from the big windows helped even though she has lamps. She twirled me around looking at my eyebrows from different angles and used the sunlight to make sure she didn’t miss anything.
She’s super friendly and I can tell she enjoys her work. I haven’t tried the facial threading, but I will next month and will be back to review!

She did a wonderful job! I have been getting my eyebrows done for over the last 10 years – and she is definitely one of the best. She takes her time and really knows what she is doing :-)
