Business Owner

Once a full time Mom and preschool teacher, I now find myself running a thriving and exciting restaurant. Being a business owner definitely has its challenges, but I have a very dependable and loyal staff that has remained steadfast during the good times and the not so good of a changing economy. I believe in trusting God with tomorrow and focusing on doing my best today. At the end of the day, it’s the people that matter most, both to me and the success of Filet.

We had an early dinner Friday night at Filet Steak and Seafood. I had the 16 oz. Ribeye with Baked Potatoe. Potatoe was good, the Ribeye was excellent. My wife had the 7oz Fillet and the Calamari and both were excellent, Service was good even though the place was jammed.
I had tried to make reservations earlier but they only take reservations for over 8 people. Our wait was only 10 minutes which really started the night off well. I will be back.

We enjoy FS&S and have on several occasions. Oftentimes we visiti because other local fish/​steak restaurants have a 1 hour wait to be seated. The restaurant is clean, staff are very friendly, and the food is good. I’m a fan of their scallops. Parking is not a problem.

The food is terrible– it was extremely greasy, hugely oversaturated with oil and grease, cold, and smelled sour and spoiled. It also contained slivers of glass that cut our mouths and tongues. The glass also destructed a tooth, and the tooth must be replaced and also have a root canal. The restrooms were the nastiest restrooms that I have ever seen and smelled like urine and feces. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, but this is not one of them. Do not go to this restaurant– it was awful!

I’m in the Greensboro area on a regular basis for business at The Reserve at Park Place. I just recently tried FILET for the first time, LOVED it!
I had the 7 oz Filet Mignon, a loaded baked potato and a really nice side salad. Everything was great! The 99 health score really put my mind at ease. Great wait and host staff!

I went last week and so enjoyed the meal I forgot to post a review… Ahi tuna was so delicious! Previous visit was superb too with a seafood dish with mussels in a great sauce. I will be back!

First time being stranded in Greensboro and first time eating Shrimp and Grits. They were scrumptious! The ribs were perfect! Not a fan of the sauce though. The aspargus was on point. The ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful I Love the chandelier lighting. I will stop by next time I’m in the area.

A tasty treat in a tiny outpost in Georgia! Don’t pass up the cheese grits, the black bean soup and the key lime pie! The service and atmosphere are delightful and the food is fresh. A nice contrast to all the fast food and deep fried dining options out there!

Chicken Portobello was amazing, as was the mushroom risotto! Everyone in our party enjoyed their entrée. The only complaint was dessert. Two of us ordered Oreo cheesecake (cheesecake of the week) and neither one of us could eat it. The cheesecake was taken off our check by our very courteous waiter.

This food is just not good. The drink specials are great and the atmosphere is cute, but the food just doesn’t taste good. I’ve tried this place twice and been disappointed both times. In the future I’ll just go back for drinks.

Great food, nice atmosphere, but this restaurant has a gnat and fly infestation. The amount of flying insects was so annoying! It definitely interferes with an enjoyable dining experience.

The original location of this restaurant used to be my second favorite place to go at Lake Oconnee (second to Silver Moon.) I don’t know if it is the new location, management, or my taste in food, but I am not inlove with this spot any more. The food is good, it doesn’t quite meet my expectations, but still good. The atmosphere is nice and dark. Staff is a little slow, but I suppose you can expect that outside the city.

Always excellent. I’ve been here about ten times in the past year and a half. All of the steaks are well worth the money. The ribs are almost always perfect… and you can choose from a merlot sauce or a regular barbecue sauce. And likely the only place in a 100 mile radius you’ll find fresh lamb chops.
I once had a problem with the temperature of my food and the manager came out and personally apologized and corrected the problem. Very prompt and professional. The atmosphere is also very comfortable.
I’d say 4.5 stars, but I don’t have that option here.

I give this restaurant a 5 Star rating due to the consistency of its excellent food and fine service. I love the shrimp, scallops, and seafood bisque there. The Black Angus burgers are delicious, too! The side are always very good also. I am very pleased with the management at Filet’s. I have been there numerous times and would try anything on their menu!

Love this restaurant. .would love it more if they add a little more to their resturant. Love their salsd and shrimp and filet tips.
The resturant also serves a very good sundried tomato oil with bread. This is a good resturant and I would recommend it.

What a feast!
We ordered the shrimp salad, fish tacos, and a hamburger. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was awesome! It’s definitely a welcoming atmosphere for adults as well as children. We can’t wait to go back again!
