I usually stop here for coffee & seldom get doughnuts, but on this stop at the speaker in the drive-​thru they had an advertisement for a smores doughnut available for a limited time, so of course I had to try it. The smores doughnut was very good, it has a marshmallow cream filling with chocolate icing on top with mini chocolate chips & graham cracker crumbs.
The coffe is always good & the drive-​thru keeps moving pretty fast if there is a line, I’ve only encountered nice friendly staff members here, very good Krispy Kreme store here on High Point Rd.

This was my first hot donut experience and suffice it to say it will definitely not be the last! Oh my sweet Lord it was a divine experience! I now have an addiction to hot Krispy Kreme donuts!

I have been a KK guy my whole life — those sweet little hot n ready yeast risen doughnuts melt in your mouth and I could easily eat 6 right out of the box. I don’t branch out into too many crazy flavors except for the chocolate iced crème filled. I LOVE YOU KK!

As Shane pointed out, when the HOT sign is on, you better be there. They are usually on in the morning when I drive by.
While KK does not have the selection of donuts that other chains has, the glazed is unbeatable. There is no glazed donut in the country that can top it. This is not exaggeration. They are really that good. I love how even the box is warm and they somewhat stick to it. They do melt in your mouth. It is ridiculous.
There is a reason why people sell these for fundraisers. They sell and they sell quickly.

When the Hot, Fresh and Now sign is illuminated this place is BUSY! And, rightfully so. They serve the BEST Original Glazed Donuts in the world. Seriously. When these things are hot; they melt in your mouth and dissolve so quickly. If you aren’t careful you can devour 5 of these things in no time flat.
I have tried other donuts and I am not a fan of them… If your thing is flavors or chocolate covered this and that I would recommend you go to Donut World or Dunkin.
