My husband & I have called upon Dr. Sara to help us with three separate pets & on many occasions. Only once with our cat Squeaky for euthanasia, and then used her hospice services for our Bassett hound Pilgrim with Osteosarcoma & eventually her euthanasia service for him 2 years ago, and recently we used her hospice care services for our old dog Buddy until it was time for Dr. Sara to help him to the rainbow bridge. All three of our pets died in their most comfortable place in our home, with the gentle, loving & compassionate care of Dr. Sara. The knowledge she brings with her in to your home & the way she explains things in terms we could understand is unparalleled by any other medical care we have received for ourselves or our pets. She walked with us through three very difficult journeys, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. The closure she brought to us as we lost our beautiful friends was unexpected at first; both my husband & I commented after she left with our cat Squeaky that we couldn’t believe it– Dr. Sara had made this sad time as lovely as it could have possibly been. Her calming presence & graceful bedside manner are remarkable gifts — not to mention how much she loved our pets. I highly recommend anyone facing end of life care for their pet to call Dr. Sara. There is no better choice, and they deserve the dignity she helped us preserve for them. She is a special angel!

A couple weeks ago Dr. Sara assisted our family in putting to rest our loving cat Whiskers. Whiskers was with us for 13 years and filled our hearts with love and kindness. Though this was a hard time for the family, Dr. Sara’s professionalism really helped our family put to rest our cat. We also have used Dr. Sara’s services to keep all of our animals up to date on shots and healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Sara’s services for any furry family member needs.

I had an appointment for today at 7 – 8 pm, Sara calls at 4 and wants to reschedule because she doesn’t have anyone to watch her child. She says she could come at 5 if I want. That left me an hour to prepare myself do something so very difficult, an hour to say goodbye, an hour to spoil him for the last time. I agreed and then just busted into tears after I got off the phone. I called back and told her she just took the last few hours I had with this dog and that I’m not mentally prepared to do this within the next hour. She told me she didn’t think she could help me and she hoped I could find someone that would. I was paying this lady $ 330 for her to cancel last minute. I have kids that I’ve been preparing for this and we all thought this was our last day with the dog they grew up with. This sends us all on an emotional rollercoaster and is very insensitive. Someone in this type of business should know better. I can’t believe how unprofessional they were. I don’t advise anyone to use Lap of Love, you can’t depend on them. Now, I’m left in tears having to start all over making preparations for this.

Fabulous help with my boyfriend and I’s new kitten. She is very understanding of any problem, knowledgeable, personable, and professional when dealing with Ms. Puss. Besides that, she does in home visits and is fairly easy to contact. The last vet I went to always wanted to give my other cat a shot. Sara doesnt believe in giving medication when its not really needed. I feel much safer with her in charge of my kitten. Thanks!

Dr. Sara has helped me on numerous occasions with my pets from triage to vaccines and exams. She seems to really understand animals, and I know that she has several rescue pets of her own, all with physical ailments. Dr. Sara has helped me twice with end of life care. She was extremely professional and compassionate. She made the last moments of my pets’ lives very peaceful, and I feel like using Lap of Love or similar service is the only way to say goodbye to a beloved friend. The urn you receive is beautiful, and her handwritten sympathy notes with bereavement brochures are helpful and ease the pain of loss. Thank you, Dr. Sara!
