We feature such great menswear brands as Remy Leather, Jack Victor clothing, Hart Schaffner Marx, Gitman Brothers, Ballin trousers, Berle trousers, Raffi Sweaters, Alex Cannon, Trafalgar Leather, Left Coast Tee Knits, and much more. These companies provide us the finest suits, sport coats, trousers, leather coats, dress and sport shirts, and accessories on the market, including many custom options.

We also have our exclusive line of women’s tailored clothing, Alex St. Claire, made in NY city. With our Alex line, we offer coats, pants, and skirts, made of the finest in 100% wool fabrics, and tailored in «menswear construction» for a better fit and easier alterations. We offer misses and women’s sizes from 2 – 24.

In addition, we feature Remy Leather coats for women.

We are the finest specialty menswear store in the Triad having been in business for over 50 years. Whether you are an «off the rack» fit, or hard to fit, we can take care of your clothing needs.

History

Established in 1952.

The Hub Ltd was founded by Henry and Peggy Tager in 1952 in Durham NC. We opened in Greensboro in 1963 and expanded throughout the Carolina’s in the 70’s and 80’s.

Henry Tager passed away in 1997, but we, his sons Kent and Keith, maintained the family business and have returned to our roots with the one store in Greensboro NC. plus our internet site.

We launched our web site in 2004 and have a strong customer following from around the United States and other countries.

In 2010, we created Alex St. Claire, our exclusive ladies tailored clothing line made in NY city. We had been very successful with the great ladies line, Austin Reed, but they closed their doors in 2009. Responding to strong customer demand, we created our own Alex line to replace Austin Reed and it has been extremely successful.

My brother Keith and I have been involved with the family business since the early 80’s, and have been the owners and merchandisers since 1997, when our father passed away. We have been living in this great city since 1962 and are proud to be the owners of the oldest and finest menswear store in Guilford county.
