We smoke our pulled pork and ribs with Cherry wood. We have the best pulled pork and ribs around. Everything is cook fresh. BBQ opens first weekend in May and closes first weekend in October. June 15 — Labor day we are open 7days. Open at 11:30 — 8pm. Also have the largest country store in Pa next door to shop or the kids can have fun in Kids country. Marble runs, indoor gem mining black light cave and much more.

Very nice people in a quirky setting. We had the lipstick on a pig sandwiches. Cole slaw and fries were delicious, but the pulled pork was bland. We got the spicy bbq sauce, and it still didn’t liven things up. Needs more salt and more flavor. It would be a 2 star rating, but the staff was so nice, it’s lifted to a 3 star.

Really great barbecue and deli. Food is not only really good but portions are HUGE and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you receive! Detect real NY deli experience in this place. Fun to walk around and shop while waiting for food — check out the Amish Butter and other fun local snacks and souvenirs.
The Staff is VERY nice and fun to talk with. Look for Stormy the store’s mascot Australian Shepherd too. After you have dinner be sure to grab an ice cream cone — tons of flavors and generous portions there as well. Great place to bring the kids and the adults too!

I’m shocked at some of the reviews. I guess people like their food cold and dry. Everything that came out was cold, out of half the items on the menu and basically clueless.
We don’t mind paying a premium for our food providing it’s good. This wasn’t even decent

Food is great but if they are busy and rushing around you won’t hear your name being called when your order is ready and let’s just say they don’t come looking for you to let you know it’s done. There is plenty to do for the kids, roam around and look at all the neat stuff

My family and I came on a Tuesday night and were one of the only people there. As we were leaving the owner offered us free half chickens.
As for the food: Great combo sandwiches. Pulled pork is okay. French fries were nice and crispy and salty, a great complement to the sandwiches. Prices are reasonable.
