A few weeks ago I was driving down the interstate when a truck drove past and kick a pebble into my windshield. It made a very small chip and a small crack (about half an inch). I immediately contacted safelite and got an appointment within a couple hours. When I got to the location, I was greater quickly and showed them the car and crack. They explained the procedure and possible outcomes from it. They took the car away and 50 min later they come back with it repaired. They took me out to see the «results” – which I would say were very anti-​climatic. You could see the chip and crack better than before but the tech said that it the resin would disappear in a couple days. Now I have a windshield that still looks like I have a crack in it – but I am to guess that it has been repaired and wIll not continue to get larger.
