Place is a rip off. Prices outrageous. Likely not their fault as it’s probably expensive to run a store on greenwich ave. But any store in the area you can the same goods and engraving for over 50% cheaper. From other reviews on Unilocal and Google it appears it’s a common theme for this store.

a true gem in greenwich for over 30 years — this place is my go-​to for personal and corporate gifts, teacher gifts, club awards and prizes, wedding gifts and more. my gifts always stand out ! michaelangelo is a recognizable brand in greenwich and the surrounding area, even into nyc! in fact i also have friends and relatives who live out of state that have ordered through michaelangelo online and via email as well. the showroom managers spend considerable time on the phone with us to understand our needs and even send photos of proposed gift ideas.
superior customer service — they make the effort to get to know the customers so they can better serve their needs and provide amazing value. they ask how my kids are doing and even remember what schools they go to! (its all in the details!)
always flexible and able to meet my last-​minute needs and deadlines
very talented engraving and artwork department has helped me on many occasions turn my ideas and sketches on the back of a napkin into true craftsmanship and professional design, executing it flawlessly.

Horrible! They engraved an item wrong and tried to blame us AND charge us $ 130 to fix their mistake! Take your money elsewhere!

They absolutely don’t stand behind their products. Last year I received a commemorative platter from our homeowners’ association in Greenwich CT. They sent it to me some six months after they had ordered it engraved,
I did not open it for another 3 months. When I did, the silver platter was completely bent – not as a result of mishandling, rather, due to faulty manufacturing.
Tried to exchange for one that was not defective. No luck. Owner huffed and and puffed and told me to get lost in the manner reserved by high rent Avenue stores for the 99 percenters while multitasking with a bow and scrape for Ann Romney.
Told my association and neighbors about the shabby treatment and refusal to stand behind products they sell.
High priced tchotchkes for Lauras who lunch and want to take as gifts for re-​gifting.
For the rest of us, Buy Kohls. You get the same quality, lower prices and better service.
