History
Established in 2008.
Opened December 1st, 2008, and owned by the London based restaurant group, MARC, Inc, with restaurants in London and New York, Morello Italian Bistro combines regional Italian cusine prepared by Executive Chef, Mark Medina-Rios, with exceptional wines, and superior service. A familiar face of Greenwich, James Branigan, formerly of Terra Ristorante Italiano, looks after guests ensuring special care, and attention to detail. The bi-level space is a historic Rafael Guastavino design with domed ceilings. The décor, designed by Jay Haverson, is tastefully chic and brings together casual warmth with high energy. The large bar is a social focal point of the restaurant where creative cocktails and global wine selections can savored.

The service team at Morello is led by a familiar face, General Manager Jimmy Branigan, formerly of Terra Ristorante and Avenida restaurants in Greenwich. Jimmy joined MARC with more than 15 years of experience in all facets of restaurant management. His experience has been groomed in some of the country’s finest eateries, from New York to closer to home in Connecticut.
