Arapahoe Conoco and Auto Care

I keep a small 5 pound propane tank as a backup for my grill and these folks are one of the few places around that refill propane tanks.

So… a piece of plastic was hanging off of the bottom of my car… It was getting hung on everything… I knew I had to fix it but had no idea where to go… So I first went to Checker Auto and purchased the bolts hoping I could fix it myself… trying to watch my money lately… I soon realized, I have no tools… and I am not buying any soon…
This place was near my house… and I had driven by hundreds of times…
I knew it was a gas station with a few car bays. It looked mom and pop which I appreciate so I dropped in.
The bay doors were open but as soon as I drove up I realized the guys inside were working on an interior remodel and not cars…(yet)
They looked at my sad face and asked sweetly how they could help.
I explained the damage… supplied the bolts and the guys were quick to happily offer their help (even though they weren’t even open for business yet!)
With service my dad would appreciate, I am giving these guys 5 stars!
They open in a few days (as of November 2 2010)
Summary:
New ownership and fresh paint
Helpful and knowledgable mechanic can work on anything he claims.
Convenient location at I-​25 and Arapaho on the opposite side of the road as Target.
Go get some Brother’s BBQ while you are waiting for your oil change, tires or for them to investigate your strange noise… :)
