It’s alright. Nothing to jump for joy for. I highly suggest they clean out behind booths. Very dirty and stuff growing behind there. Kinda disgusted.

The bar manager here is amazing he went over and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Sal you are running this restaurant very well, even our server Ruben rocked! We will be back

This is not a Mexican restaurant. This is a weird mixture of «Mexican» and things smothered in Green Chile with a high price attached. This is the type of place a Hispanic would not set foot in, it’s a white only clientele and at 1pm on a Saturday there were 4 of us unlucky soles. Chips are old and stale, salsa is bottled and has a strange aftertaste. We ordered the lunch enchiladas and the children’s cheese enchiladas. The food came in literally 2 minutes fastest service I’ve ever seen. But is that good, let’s taste it it first. The food is so bland and unflavored I believe the food was already cooked and waiting under hot lights and the the dishes it onto plates where they melted cheese on top in a salamander. Beans are supposed to be refried but they are like a soup, and the rice was basically white rice with carrots added. I would definitely NOT ever come back here. It was $ 20 for two people to eat and it was horrible.

We’ve been going here for years and still enjoy it. Great carnitas, enchiladas, rellenos, and guacamole. Service is always good and the food is priced well.

When I lived in Colorado this was a favorite. When I get back for a visit it’s a must stop for dinner. Even if that means a roundtrip from Greeley. IT’S THEBEST!

I love this place and have been going for many years. I love the green chili over everything. Pork Carnitas are great but I’ve never had anything bad there so you can’t go wrong

Took my father here. He is very picky on how his Mexican food is prepared. He likes it very hot. This restaurant did it’s job. And the service was great. Will be coming back.

I really like this place. I think they have some of he best, most genuine Mexican food in the area. I am originally from California so genuine Mexican food is pretty abundant. Even in the Bay Area. But here in Colorado I have found it to be a little harder to find. I always get good customer service and they make the food fast and delicious.

What to say… Well, the food just isn’t good. That’s all there is to it. I have been probably four times. And each time I am unimpressed. For whatever reason, by husband keeps buying Groupons to go, so we go. I told him to stop buying the Groupons. Pretty much any other Mexican restaurant has better tasting food. Also, they serve super watered down drinks. Their margarita, a special for only $ 5.50(really, that’s your sale price?) was mostly margarita mix, little to no alcohol. Positives(and the reasons they didn’t get only one star): Free chips Good service — probably because the place is always deserted

I have been going here for years. They have a wide array of standard fare, all of which is at least very good. It certainly may not be considered high end, modern, or ultra-fresh/healthy Mexican cuisine, but what makes me give this place a solid 5 star review is their consistency, speed, and value. My absolute favorite is their green chilie smothered egg and bean burrito which is an absolute steal at less than 6 dollars. The waitstaff are very attentive and loyal employees. They have drink specials and make very good margaritas. The dishes taste homemade and are surely made to order. If you like Mexican food, El Parral won’t dissappoint.

This has been a family favorite for about 20 years. They have the best green chile I’ve had in Colorado and their food beats out the Mexican place that opened across the parking lot from it on any day! This is a must try if you are a local who has never been or from out of town and enjoy Mexican food.

If you are searching for delicious Mexican food in Lone Tree/South Denver, El Parral is fantastic. The chili rellenos and tamales always have a different level of spice — you know it’s actually homemade when it tastes different each week with a new batch of chilies. There are regular Groupons for El Parrel as well which is also nice and Marnie is a fantastic waitress! Note: El Tapatio in the same parking lot is horrible. We ate there once because El Parral was closed on a Sunday. Queso cheese in the relleno and cold food. El Parral is far superior!

I Love This Place! Consistently good food and lightning fast service. Cannot say enough good things. I hope they survive the restaurant that opened next to them. El Tapatio SUCKS but has better street appeal.

I give this place 5 stars because they are the best in town! The food is consistent, which is always very tasty. You can order mild, medium, hot and very hot sauces. The service is always friendly and helpful. The food is served quickly and the prices are very inexpensive. All around the only place to go to have the best!

This place is a dump! Crappy excuse for Mexican food and not homemade! Save your money and time. Go next door to El Tapatio. Way better food and their ambiance is not from the 80’s. Get with the times El Parrel.

I’ve always been a fan of El Parral. My mother used to work at their first location many many years ago. Anyway, Steak nachos have always been one of my faves. Carne asada, camarones rellenos, and regular rellenos, and the beans man! Soo yummy!

I feel so bad for this El Parral… it seems like the El Tapatio restaurant right next door is choking the life out of them! Not only is its competitor much more visible from the street, but there are hostile-looking«El Tapatio parking only — violators will be towed» signs taking up most of the shared parking lot. I hope they find a way to fight it out, because El Parral is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Denver. Their green chili is flavorful and has just the right amount of kick and they have the best Mexican steak I’ve ever had. Prices are very reasonable and service is always quick. It’s not much to look at, honestly, but if you go to El Parral with a «greasy spoon» mindset, you’ll be fine.

I had lunch here yesterday and my vote would be pretty average. In fact I have eaten here a few times and they have all been average. Not terrible and not great. The food is decent and service was fine. Just nothing to make it stand out from other Mexican food restaurants.

Faster than Speedy Gonzalez!!! I have been here SOMANYTIMES on lunch during work because I have never, EVER waited more than five minutes for my takeout to be ready. The term freaky fast must have originated at El Parral. Excellent, EXCELLENT food too! I would never bother going anywhere else for mexican food in Centennial. There’s no reason to. Don’t Miss: Huevos a la Mexicana
