You have no idea after selling my salons how haircuts have been a nail biting experience to say the least! The simple fact you actually KNOW how to cut with a razor is astounding, it is truly a lost Art… You are stuck with me now…

Brenda… thank you for your outstanding service! Big shout out to Brenda who has given me a «healthy» glow in 2015 with her talents in air brush tanning. Since I am from the tanning bed era that now should stay out of the sun from the diagnosis of a .56 melanoma, I can now get a beautiful, safe, bronze color without any damages. Thank you Brenda for a wonderful 2015 and look forward to more visits with you in 2016! Happy New Years!

I love it here! It may help that the best stylist ever (Karlee F.) works here, but, the salon is gorgeous, too. It has a lovely, open feel and everyone is warm and welcoming.
They like appointments, but, will try to squeeze you in quickly if you’re a walk-​in.
Now, I already mentioned her, but, Karlee really is the best and I HIGHLY recommend her (I drive half an hour, past nearly a dozen other salons to have her do my hair. She’s the only one I let touch it anymore. She salvaged a monstrosity of a haircut I received at MHCC beauty school and I’ve been loyal ever since.). I’ve seen her cuts, color, waxing, styling and more and I’m always impressed! She even did my hair for my sister-in-law’s wedding and a formal event for my husband’s work and the hair lasted All. Day. Long. Without touch ups or drooping. I’m a huge fan of her work!

I went to Courtney for a manicure and pedicure which is rare for me-​it lasted 6 days before four nails began to peel, I was on vacation so i didn’t do any manual labor with my hands which Courtney was quick to suggest was the reason they were chipping already-​she did repair those nails, but I contacted her the next day saying my other nails were peeling also and she replied she would repair them for $ 10, which I thought was wrong, since shellac is suppose to last 2 – 4 weeks, plus one of the nails she repaired the day before started to peel. I’m afraid I will never go back and I have never had to write such a poor review.

I bought a groupon for a mani/​pedi from Dawn, just like it appears some other reviewers did. Dawn was very unprofessional about scheduling and I ended up canceling the groupon and getting a refund because her service was so awful. She went so far as to tell me, «I did not have time to call you back» after I called several times and left a voicemail trying to schedule service. Stay away from her! I have not been to the salon otherwise so I cannot comment on other technicians.

I was here only two days ago and my shellac is chipping off significantly. Same with my pedicure. 2 DAYS?! And it is already coming off? That really sucks. I had boughten the groupon, which I wish I could have just returned because I kept getting texts all the time about rescheduling. Which was kind of annoying. But as I was leaving the work looked good. My toe nails were a little short, but oh well the color was awesome. But as we were in the car I noticed how bumpy, thick and inconsistent my shellac manicure was. And my toes are chipping really fast.
The shellac started chipping yesterday as well.
And to add some perspective, these two days I’ve had off from work and school so I haven’t been doing any strenuous activities with my hands or feet.
If I’m spending over $ 35 on something I would really hope it would last. I’m super disappointed and a little angry that I just spent money on something that didn’t even last a week. Now I’m going to probably have it all taken off on my next day off so my nails aren’t all chipped and broken looking. Super disappointed.

I bought the Groupon for the mani pedi from Dawn. The manicure and pedicure were adequate but I felt there constant texting of the woman providing the services was very unprofessional. I would go back to the salon but not to the same person. Poor customer service.

I went to Mary (the owner) for a fill and pedicure. She did an amazing job on both! she fixed what the last nail salon had done to my nails and made them beautiful again. Mary gave me a beautiful black glitter set with bright red tips on the underside of my nails, so cute! I get compliments on my nails daily. Not only did my nails look absolutely perfect when I left, but my nails still look great a week later… and I have been painting and remodeling my house! The pedicure was so relaxing and my little piggies have never looked so good! A friend came with me and saw Lacie for a manicure and her nails look fantastic! Lacie did a super cute pink fading to orange polish on my friend and educated her on how she can care for her dry cuticles. I highly recommend both Mary and Lacie, my friend and I are going to make this our new nail place!

I love this salon! I’ve had many services done over the years here, hair by both Heather and Stephanie, a pedicure by Dawn, waxing with Rita and spray ran by Brenda. My experiences have been very relaxing, I feel listened to and taken care of and always share a laugh with the staff member assisting me. I am always welcomed when I walk in the door and given a warm goodbye when leaving. I have no hesitations recommending this salon to my friends and family because they treat you wonderfully!

For my third anniversary with my boyfriend, he bought me a groupon for a mani/​pedi with Dawn. I was so excited, but then confused. You have to text her for an appointment (which now I think is to my advantage), and she’s very flexible. Dawn is amazing and she always does her best to accommodate my wishes when I go in for shellac manicures. After my first mani/​pedi, she offered another groupon to buy through her so I bought two manis for $ 25! It’s a great deal for the amazing work she does. In less than half an hour, I always have amazing nails that I’m proud to show off. Plus, I’m a sucker for designs and I feel bad because she isn’t an artist, but her designs always look great!

I typically go to the same stylist but recently she has been very hard to schedule with so I had to try something new. I called on either Thursday or Friday of last week to see if they had any available appointments on Monday. The receptionist said she would talk with the stylists and see if anyone had any availability. I got a call back from Alicia, my new stylist, about 10 mins later offering me an appointment on Monday. I was so happy because most salons are not open Monday. I went in for my appointment today and was greeted right away. The salon was clean and free of clutter I was taken back to the chair about 5 mins later (I was a little early). Alicia had great conversation and was fun and personable. She was very knowledgable and made sure to ask me all the right questions. I didn’t even have to tell her what to do because she was able to follow my past stylists pattern. My blonde looks amazing and my hair is smoother than ever! She spent a very decent amount of time styling my hair the way she knew I liked it. Also, during the shampoo she massaged my head and neck!!! Super bonus. Prices were absolutely fair. And I will definitely be going back.

I always get my nails done by Mary there. She does a great job! I have had my nails done several other places when I have been in a bind or need to get them done at the last minute but always end up going back to Mary to get them fixed. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to quality with your nails! Mine are never overly thick and last 3 weeks before they start lifting, acrylics from other salons generally start lifting within the first week for me.

Airbrush tanning by Brenda foster is fabulous. Highly recommend.

I went to Alter Ego and saw Rida for my first ever Brazilian. Rida was amazing, she made me feel very comfortable and was very professional. The salon was clean and very busy. Rida’s room was sparkling with soothing music and a fountain in the corner. Very fairly priced as well and an easy to find location with good parking. Will be highly recommending this place to others and I will be going back for sure.
