Sweet little go to place for our family. The donuts are consistently fresh and the staff is typically cordial, at times very friendly and welcoming. Even when there is a line it is always manageable. The atmosphere offers a sweet diner feel. We will always come here for our donut needs

Absolutely fantastic doughnut shop. Totally reminds me of shops back east. Not pretentious, inexpensive, & absolutely delicious! Doughnuts should not be an expensive outing. This place keeps it simple & it really shines! I bought a dozen glazed doughnut holes & a large coffee for less than $ 3, yes $ 3! They are all about the doughnut & they do it very well. You won’t find any Oreos or Captain Crunch here, but you will find some of the most traditional & delicious doughnuts in the state. They have all of the classics & a few surprises. Can’t recommend this place enough. I would go way more often if it wasn’t so far away from me. Go now, you will not be disappointed!

I went in the morning and ordered a chocolate glazed donut. It was warm and soft, the chocolate glaze was perfect to the pallete.

Always very clean, a great variety of donuts. Donuts are fresh with real fruit ingredients. You are required to spend a five dollar minimum of using a card. Prices are reasonable. Quick service.

So many good donuts! The buttermilk is extra delicious. Went in at 2pm on a Saturday and they still had an abundant selection.

Nice folks but when you go in at 7−8am they don’t have any donuts left. Their donuts are also a bit heavy and dense, not fluffy and super tasty.

Basic donut shop, but nothing special. Service was good, but the selection of donuts was a bit of a disappointment.

Donut world is right down the block from me and I’ve stopped in quite a few times. Pretty decent place. The donuts are usually very fresh, they have some coffee and stuff as well which I haven’t tried. On my first visit I got a really rude employee and I left a previous review based on that, but I’m editing it because that doesn’t feel fair.(Basically, I was totally ignored and it was done on purpose. For whatever reason, the employee just didn’t want to talk to/interact with me. Whatever.) The other times I’ve gone in, everyone is friendly and I get to walk home with a delicious donut. I appreciate having this cute little shop so close to me in Gresham!

Walking into the shop everything smelled super yummy. Although there was a large variety to choose from, presentation wasn’t great. The donuts were oddly shaped(non uniform), and the frosting wasn’t evenly spread and not nearly enough for how thick the bar was. The filling was very flavorful, but the chocolate glaze was a thin drizzle. They taste better than they look, but they’re about the same as a donut from the bakery window of the mainstream grocery shop. Good donut, could use improvements.

bought donuts there this morning and meh nothing special. The fillings taste like the ones you can get from cash and carry no homemade fillings and taste like pre done frozen dough. Nothing super great doubt I’ll be back.

Not a lot of choices– cinnamon twist doughnut was mediocre, pretty cheap though.

They have cherry fritters and cherry cake donuts, so good! No other donut shop has these. We hit up Donut World whenever we are in the area.

All these 5 star ratings? Really? The thing that fetched my attention about Donut World was that it looked like a red barn plopped onto one of Gresham’s busiest retail strips. I had driven by it many times thinking how hokey it looked. I finally went in. The service is friendly. The location, while not inspiring, is slightly rustic, countrified, dated and/or funky, so you could conceivably sit here with your donut(s) and a cup of java and enjoy the time warp. I bought a chocolate donut with sprinkled(pea)nuts. There were NO cherry/strawberry frosted donuts and there wasn’t much variety in terms of frosted donut alternatives. In that department, Heavenly Donuts has it over Donut World in Gresham, even though Heavenly’s service isn’t as friendly. In short, I prefer Heavenly Donuts over all the other donut shops in the metro. Even though the red barn is sort of «cute» and worthy of a novelty visit, in the end, it’s really about the donuts.

I’ve passed by here so much over the years but never considered ever coming in til this particular morning. I gotta admit I like a good donut. I’m not one of those elaborate donut people that insist on going to Voodoo Donuts cause it has such an awesome and diverse selection. In actuality, I like my simple donuts like a twist or a buttermilk bar. I literally drove by here this particular morning and that sign just sucked me in. I came in and was greeted by some really nice bakers that were not trying to rush me into an order so they can get to the next person. He took his time with me and I did my usual Buttermilk Bar and Twist with a carton of milk. I got back in my car and decided to partake in this pastry in the privacy of my car and Steve Perry. You also can’t forget about Steve’s bandmates Journey as well. I took my first bite of my buttermilk bar and it was hard as a rock. Not one to waste food I grudgingly at the rest of the donut and found it to be rather dry. I washed down the buttermilk bar with some of the milk and digged into my cinnamon twist which again was hard. I’m not an expert when it comes to donuts but I don’t want to assume it was old but as hard as it was I’m finding it hard to believe it was fresh either. As Steve Perry once sang the song«Separate Ways» I think its best we went our separate ways as well. Its not you, its me. I don’t like hard donuts and I hope that maybe someday in the future I may find myself in the front of your bakery counter but for now we need to part ways.

This place… This place has… The best donuts… I’ve ever had. My partner and I are absolutely INLOVE with this place. My grandpa owned a Dunkin’ when I was a kid, so I got used to eating donuts that were fresh and delicious. Since then it and most other donut places have gone out of business, so I am left here with only places like Krispy Kreme and Voodoo. If you break a Voodoo donut down to its basics, the donut, the actual DONUT is nothing special. Mediocre at best. KK is just… too much. It’s too sweet and too rich. The texture of some of there other donuts is wrong. Almost too hard. Donut Wold hits all points; smell, taste, texture, presentation. Winner. Our favorites are the plain(raised, glazed) and chocolate(cake, glazed) donut holes. The texture of the plain ones is divine. They melt in your mouth! Also, the cake donut with chocolate and chopped peanuts on top is excellent. I love sweet and salt.
