Lillian’s is a fantastic place to shop! Prices are better than the big name markets and it has the feel of a small town store, the kind where the owner greets you at the door. The staff is friendly and well educated on lifestyles like Paleo(I have shopped at Lillian’s since I started Paleo about a year ago). Because of the store’s value, environment and people, Lillian’s is one of my favorite places to shop. When you’re in there, try their Curry Chicken salad, it is to die for!

December 24th and I have been overeating and drinking my way silly through Portland and in my parents Sandy never ending kitchen o’cookies & junk snacks for days. I have to make a last minute Christmas errands trip into Gresham and am hankering for a fresh juice for brunch. Wait? A town this size doesn’t have a whole foods? A new seasons? A juice bar? :rubs eyes, checks to make sure she is still in the PNW: Dang Gresham, you have secured your spot as Oregon’s most non-Oregonesque city. I took to Unilocal for a quick options search before I added my juicer to the packing list for my next trip and found potential promise; Lillians in downtown Gresham. Worth a shot no? I wearily dropped into the small, colorful space in a mixed use building, was greeted and ushered towards the back for my juice. Lillian herself eschewed her menu, took a look at my eyes and fingernails and whipped me up enough vegetable matter to sustain my liver and gullet for 3 more days of drinking for the same price as a whole foods or other chain. Thanks Lillian, not only does Gresham need you, but I am fairly sure you saved me from scurvy!

I went back in yesterday, and was super excited to see even more gluten free products! I also noticed that the prices are now more in line with the natural foods sections at other area grocery stores. I was excited when Lillian showed me a weekly sale flyer! I’ll be keeping an eye on that from now on. I do love this store, and I love that Lillian really takes customer input to heart. It is nice to shop at a place that cares about the customer. This is shaping up to be a fantastic market!

I love this store. I especially love their meat selection. It’s so hard to find Organic/non-tortured meat in Gresham.

Ashamed to admit it but it’s been forever since I’ve been to the small, local and organic market in Gresham. Heck, it’s been so busy I’ve not even gone to our local farmers market in a bit. I wanted to barbeque some fish and corn on the cob. Where the heck would I find organic corn with no farmers market around? Lillian’s! And she came through. The corn was so sweet! I also was needing some organic and sweet salad dressing for my spinach/feta/strawberry salad. You betcha on that! She had some really different items like cucumber/melon, but the one that caught my eye was berry/lavender!!! You can imagine how that tasted on my salad. It was all very cornocopiously-lavendery ambrosianious I say to you.

I am really glad this place is here, and they have a good range of higher quality selections. It’s clean and a nice layout. I really hope Gresham supports them! There’s a few things they need to work on, like the labeling setup in the bulk section. And some items in the produce section look a little sad. But once they have a good customer flow, that will likely improve. I’m planning to shop there regularly! The prices don’t bother me.

the staff here are all really nice and helpful. they have a lot of selection, especially considering the area its in. the deli sandwich was super good.(but pricey, at over $ 8.00 for a turkey and cheese sandwich) support local shops with healthy food!

Lillian’s is just what Gresham needed. While New Seasons couldn’t hang, I hope that Lillian’s will be able to. There is a pretty decent selection, especially for a relatively small space. The prices are a little high for East County, but that’s sort of what you expect for this kind of product. The place is really cute, and, extra bonus, right around the corner is Bella Cupcake.

Lillian works hard to find products that her customers want, and is always super friendly and helpful when she’s in the store. Along with a good assortment of the usual staples, there are speciality items that cannot be found anywhere near Gresham, and the meat is fantastic. Prices can be a bit on the upper end, but you can have peace of mind knowing not only that the food is 100% natural, but also that you are supporting a local business and people who actually care.

Lillian’s has some great products and I saw so awesomemly amazed that she is not supporting Stumptown Coffee… hooray for other roasters! I stopped in to grab a quick snack and check out the selection, I was the only one in the store. Hmmm… I wish more people would support this place, they have great products and support a healthier lifestyle. Tip for the owners, play music in the store, it was a little too quiet.

Went down to Oregon to visit family for Thanksgiving. Portland used to be my hometown. I was out in Gresham and found this great place! I just loved Lillian’s! The store is small, but it packs a punch! Lots of great products, some I haven’t seen anywhere else before, and all local, if it’s available locally, and organic! Plus the people that work there are so nice and friendly, you can tell they really take pride in their store. Lillian’s is really warm. I also love what’s available in the deli– what a great lunch stop! Sure, the prices are a little high, but they’re a small store and don’t have the buying power of a Fred Meyer or Whole Foods, I’m sure! But they’re supporting their community and hopefully their community will support them back. It’s too bad if people ask for a natural foods grocery store to come into their neighborhood(as I’ve seen other reviewers mention) and then complain it’s too expensive… I’m sure the owners are doing what they can. What I saw there is great service, great products, what looked like a strong commitment to supporting the local community and a lot of love. I hope the community will love Lillian’s back!

Has lots of promise. But prices are not great, and when I was there after they first opened, produce selection was limited. Seemed like a good place for high quality meats, wines, cheese, etc. I will be looking forward to going back as they have time to mature and see how they shape up.
