You like crawfish spicy? This is the place! Best crawfish on the Westbank. Make sure you get some potatoes and sausage too.

I went here because the guy on said that they had some of the best crawfish in the city. Boy was I disappointed! Small crawfish at a high price that tasted like they had been reheated. Yeah, they were spicy, but they tasted like someone just dumped cayenne pepper on them. No seasoning to make the spicy flavor more complex. Don’t know about the rest of their food, but I’ll never go here for crawfish again.

I wish they had more locations!!! I travel all the way from the east just for the quality and taste that only j&j can provide! Spice and flavor! Even the potatoes have flavor lol

This is one of the few non-Vietnamese owned seafood places who do crawfish spicy enough for me. Really good pricing and spiced to perfection. What more can a chili-head crawfish lover ask for? Oh, beer. But that’s about it.

I love J & J’s! Growing up on the Westbank this is one of my go to spots for wonderful seafood. The seafood is spicy but amazing. I love the turkey necks, sausage and boudin.

Our go to spot for crawfish. We get the crawfish and all of the sides that we like(Corn, Potatoes, Sausage, & Turkey Necks) Sometime the spice can get to be a bit unbearable, buy today they were spot on! I can’t wait until we get further along in the season so the crawfish can be bigger. Big props to these guys for sticking ONLY with Louisiana crawfish. Last week they wouldn’t sell the Chinese frozen stuff because of our bad weather.

Shrimp are great and their Yacamein is money for the hangover cure. If you go for crawfish during the season and you want it spicy, go towards the end of the day after the pot has really taken in all the flavors.

This is a place that you must go into a real neighborhood to find. If you are looking for boiled seafood, this place is the truth. The closer you get to Mardi Gras time, the longer the lines get for this place. The flavor for the crawfish and turkey necks are on point like a sniper’s scope. This place is not a torist trap place, with a huge fancy building. You just have some local Algiers, New Orleanians that knows what great flavor is when it comes to boiled seafood. Many seafood options, but I just do my crawfish and turkey necks here… happily! Definitely let these people test your taste buds.

Best seafood in NOLA. I have been going here for years. You know its good when Emeril Legasse and his dad are regulars. Get a few pounds of crawfish to go. Go grab a park picnic bench, 6 pack of Abita beer, and you’re good to go. Not touristy. Mom & Pop type place.

One of the best markets to get wonderfully seasoned seafood! This is the place where I first tried neckbones. Their boiled crawfish is usually spot on. Their potatoes, though, are legit. I come here just for the potatoes sometimes. They are delicious :)

I believe this is where the locals get their crawfish? $ 3.99 a pound for cooked crawfish. Not bad at all. No complaints, it was good but not great. I think I’ve gotten used to the sauce-y, garlic butteryness lathered on my crawfish so this was just well boiled crawfish. Other items on the menu: + turkey legs + sausage + boudin + neckbones + corn, potatoes
