Hi my name is Papi

This is a long time dream thanks to God my wife and my kids my dream has come through on April 6, 2015. My kids came up with the name Papi’s Pinchos. Now I get to serve lots of family and friends with good traditional Puerto Rican food and my specialty Pinchos.

What inspired me to open my business was my kids they love to eat Pinchos that’s how the name came up my kids picked it they say Papi makes the best Pinchos so I thought it be a good idea to serve more people with great food that’s how my wife got involved she is the chef and she can really cook good. If you like Puerto Rican food come down and see us and taste a great dishes if you never had Puerto Rican food before. Then you should really come and taste the food it’ll keep you coming back

Delicious food, great service. I had the bbq chicken kabob, pink beans and yellow rice. It was amazing! Tons of flavor! Very helpful and courteous. Love this place.

Traveling across the state from a track meet, I couldn’t believe we found a Puerto Rican place in this little town! I had pernil and my husband had bistak. Both were flavorful as were the rice and beans. I also ordered tostones for $ 2.25 and got six big pieces. I liked that the tostones were not overly salty, in fact all the food tasted easy on the salt which is a big, big plus for me.
We sat at the picnic tables and enjoyed the beautiful FL weather and enjoyed our meal. This is definitely a place we would come back to.

I am from Puerto Rico and can remember growing up as a youngster when my grandmother would take me to a local food spot to get pinchos (skewered grilled meats). I live in groveland and noticed the «Papis Pinchos» sign on a tiny little building. I decided to stop in and try it. While the restaurant itself may not be all that impressive (who cares?! I’m there for the food) the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and the music and outdoor sitting area made me feel like I was back in Puerto Rico.
I had the chicken and pork pinchos and a beef empanada. All which were delicious! I absolutely will be back and certainly recommend this place!

First of all, I can’t believe how reasonable the prices are! It’s nice to be able to go somewhere and still be able to get a great lunch for $ 6.
This is a family run business. The owners came out and spoke to us while eating. They made us feel like we were in their kitchen. You don’t get this kind of welcoming treatment from too many places anymore.
I tried the empanadas. ON Point! They were nice and crispy on the outside how they should be, and the meat was so flavorful!
I can’t wait to come back and try something else! This Gringo thinks Papi’s is legit.

So ok let me explain what happened here. We are staying near Disney (429 & 192) I can say I know the Orlando Kissimmee area for good Puertorican food, but we went to Groveland so get some pinchos. Well after we got there we noticed that the parking lot is small but later we found out you can park on the side or around the back. So we show up (10 of us) the owners (Junior and his wife) gladly accepted us and made room for us under the canopy due to the rain as there is no inside dining. We quickly ordered our food and made our way outside. We ordered a little of everything. And let me tell you if you grew up eating pinchos and you want some you came to the right place. They were on point so juicy and tender. The relleno de papa was spot on and my brothers eat all of their plates with a big smile. Come check this place out it is worth the drive. Thank you Junior for welcoming me and my family.

Just left This place with the best customer service experience. The taste of their food is superb. If we had 10 stars I would give them 10 stars. Their pinchos are packed with great flavor. Two pinchos for $ 5 is a great deal. I will definitely be bringing some family.

Amazing… You know a place is worth eating at when they run out of product and cannot keep up with demand … Though every thing is awesome… I haven’t had empanadas that good since a cuchfrito dive in NYC… The rellenos amazing… Pinchos will have you gnawing the flavor off of the skewer, there bbq sauce is amazing!!! I now have a reason to drive 4hrs to visit my parents

This amazing spot is just Fabulous! The staff is so friendly! I felt like I was at the island! and the food is to die for!!! Pinchos you must get… Im an hour away from this spot but the drive was so worth it! I had so much fun talking to juan and Rosa the business owners! Must come back bike night!!! Totally cool.
