We are a family owned & operated business and also a NAPA Auto Care Center specializing in general automotive repair. We do repairs on all makes and models excluding major diesel engine repair. We are fully capable of diagnosing why your «Check Engine Light» is on and what it would take to repair the problem (not just what code # has set), what that weird noise is when you go over bumps, or why your heater doesn’t seem as warm as it used to, etc. Basically, we will take care of the problem and only the problem. We pride ourselves, and have for 33 years now at the same and only location, on fixing only your issues and not selling you things that you don’t need. We also hold the diagnostic procedures in high regards, so we don’t end up just throwing parts at the problem. Our owner, Donny, is also our ASE certified tech and is constantly furthering his training to stay on top of whats new. Please feel free to give us a call with any questions or to schedule you vehicle for repair. NOTE: Outside of plugging a puncture, we do not do any tire work or alignments.

History

Established in 1981.

Docs Auto Repair was established in 1981, focusing mainly on Corvette repair, Rochester fuel injection repair and rebuild. It wasn’t long before our services merged into general auto repair and diagnosis. We’ve now been at our one and only location for 33 years!

Meet the Manager

Chad F.

Manager

Chad has always been infatuated with anything fast and motorized… mostly cars and motorcycles, which still rings true today. He’s owned over 60 personal vehicles in just 22yrs as a licensed driver. He graduated in 1995 from Unioto High School in Ross County, Ohio. Then attended Ohio University, where he received his Business Management degree. He has held management positions since graduating college in the retail field, entertainment/​hospitality field, medical field and since April 2006 here at Docs Auto Repair in the automotive repair industry working as our Shop Manager/​Service Writer. He is also the nephew of our owner Don Faulkner, who also happens to be our ASE certified tech as well.
