College Towing South

My bike broke down on the freeway at SLO after a weekend trip to Pismo Beach. College Tow towed my bike all the way back to only open (Sunday) Harley dealership in S San Francisco.
They came fast and picked me and the bike up on the side of the highway and the tow driver (Aaron) was willing to make the unusually long tow all the way back to the Bay Area where I live…230 miles! Aaron was a true professional, a very pleasant guy, and went way out of his way by agreeing to my request to tow the bike back home to the shop. College Tow, and specifically their tow driver Aaron, bailed me out of a tough situation on the side of the freeway and I had to say THANKS! to Aaron and the College Tow team!

I called the Auto Club roadside service which uses College Towing. As I was sitting waiting a gentleman named Mike pulled over to ask if I needed help and I told him I called Auto Club and they were sending out College Towing. He said he worked for College Towing and called his company, found out they were coming out to help me. He told them the situation and what to bring. He stayed with me until the towing truck came and helped out. I cannot thank him enough and I thank the towing company for coming out so quickly. The driver was also very professional. My car was over a high curb (front tires) and had Mike not come along I would have tried to drive forward or backwards over the curb and I would have had ruined my radiator and incurred a major repair bill. I thank Mike so much for going the extra mile and helping me in my situation on his own time! Thanks College Towing!

Long story short — my car broke down over the weekend on the freeway, my insurance called Gil’s Towing, but after waiting 2 hours, Gil’s Towing never showed up. So, I looked up and found College Towing, they picked me up in 30 minutes, and towed me over 200 miles late at night. It was a long drive, but it was awesome being saved from waiting on the side of the freeway at night. When getting my car back home, he even drove around the neighborhood a couple times to find the best place to park it. Our driver was Robert — sincerely, thank you!

They responded to my college student daughter who got a flat tire on 101 south near Pismo beach at 5 am. Wouldn’t take her to a local tire shop. Instead, insisted on towing her home in to Santa Barbara. $ 375 later. The driver stopped twice on the way. Once for coffee and once to change trucks. The driver was extremely
vulgar during the whole experience and didn’t provide a receipt. I called to complain and ask for a receipt. I was told by the supervisor (John) that they actually undercharged us. The bill should have been more like $ 800. Total ignored my question of why was it towed the whole way to Santa Barbara in the first place. I
believe there name fits them will. There focus is on taking advantage of young naïve college students. Still have no received my receipt promised.

I just received the most polite professional service from Cale I had a flat tire on 101 north bound called ACSC for assistance they dispatched College Towing. Cale arrived with a smile and had my car towed home within a very short period of time. If you need a tow call College Towing

College Towing was recommend to me by the service station I had my car towed to, Trans-​King in AG. The phone staff was friendly and informative, able to quote me a very fair price for the tow (which matched the final price). The truck arrived promptly. and the driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even checked under the hood after adding gas, to rule out empty tank syndrome. After I followed the truck back to the service station, I realized I did not have my credit card in my wallet. The driver arranged for the tow costs to be added to my service costs at Trans-​King, saving me the hassle of going to track down cash. Wow! Who does that?
Needing a tow is always a frightening prospect. The folks at College made this experience far less painful with their prompt, helpful service. I hope I don’t need them again, but they are now programmed into my phone, just in case, and would be my first call without a doubt.

What I thought to be a battery needing a jump was a bad alternator. Luckily, Lucky (our tow guy told me it was the alternator.
