Never staying here again! Room was dirty, hair on the floor, cockroach went across the floor and the air conditioner didn’t work…

The location is amazing. If you do not mind a mediocre hotel experience the location, view, and pool are worth the disappointment.
We stayed here for 4 nights over the weekend and never got our coffee in the room refilled. We had to go to the front desk every day to get more coffee– which is not something you want to do in the morning before coffee (coffee drinkers… unite!!!). I complained every day, and every day they promised it would be different but it never was.
Additionally, it was scary to walk in the room barefoot because of the gross carpet. 5 minute after showering our feet were completely back… yuck!!! We also complained about the carpet and got zero sympathy from the staff.
Moral of the story; the location, beach, and view are excelete. Great for the price if you do not mide a «meh» hotel.

NEVER WILL I EVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Let’s just say my checkin consisted of 30 mins. I will never recommend them to anyone.
This should not be the standards of any hotel.
I had family members in another room and their room was as disappointing as mine. Their door wouldn’t close or lock.
A entire waste of 140+ dollars.
I wish there was a negative star selection.
Not to mention the hairs in the shower. The stains on the sheets. It’s called bleach. Better yet throw those away and buy new ones.
You guys really need to step it up!!!

This hotel is a mixed bag of ratings. Simple hotel with a awesome bayfront location in Gulf Breeze. This is a older hotel that shows it age. There are room for improvements. However, it is a good one or two night location. The service is good, the hotel is clean for its age. For the price paid you can’t go wrong. If you want a higher quality hotel there are those in the area. I will stay that the on premises restaurant is a high quality breakfast place. That alone get a plus. So with all that said, I will return to this hotel if I am in this area.

Where do I start?
I check in 2 hours early with my family after a 10 hour drive there’s a 25 dollar fee for each room to do that by the way the check in time is 3pm check out time is 9am or they will charge you for another night
So I check in 1^st room (232) Ac doesn’t work
Move to another room (236) I get in there the quilt has cigarette burns on them and the whole room smells like smoke
3^rd room (224) I take a shower only to find out the cold water valve does not work so you get burn while you shower they come in while half of my family is sleeping and start working on this shower and making all this noise unable to move us to another room
On top of that I over heard one of the managers talking to the maintenance guy saying that if he can fix the shower because we were, and I quote «very annoying people» over the guys radio turns out I speak Spanish I’m from Spain I may look white but… no
And then to top the amazing experience (sarcasm) I’m in my underwear on the bed and a family about to stay here opens the door to my room and we looked at each other for like a min before they decided this was the wrong room, I’m not sure if a key opens multiple doors or that the front office didn’t keep up with what room we where checked in either way it made me questions the security of my personal items.
I travel a lot this is the worst hotel I’ve ever been too first and last time too any quality Inn chain ever!
I paid 330 dollars total for 2 rooms one night.
Oh and they call this a hotel look again this is a motel so take a good look at the setup and no breakfast either.

Very nice for the price you pay! Private beach and outdoor pool! Hilton is right next door but much more expensive and no beach. I highly recommend this place unless you have lots of money. The restaurant has very good food! You have to try the spinach and artichoke dip… Amazing! There is a bar a couple blocks down for those who like to party! Clean rooms and friendly staff! No breakfast but who needs that!??

It’s very old and broken down, especially around the beach. Rooms are cramped with small bathrooms. The restaurant is great, though, as is the price relative to other area options.

Don’t believe anything Quality Inn & Suites Gulf Breeze FL advertises! They charged us $ 100 for a 2 night stay for 2 small dogs, which they advertise as «pet friendly» $ 10 per dog per day! Police present with sirens and strobe lights at all hours of the night, 6 police units for 1 distress call! No complimentary breakfast for a very, very over-​priced room! Very small, unkept Bay Area beach. Unfriendly staff! I am usually very generous with reviews, when I give one and I am struggling to give it a «1». I will never stay here again! I would rather drive to the beach from La Quinta in town that is truly animal friendly, or worse case scenario; sleep in my car!

The first room they gave us was dirty it had pee stains on the floor and the tub had brown stains in it. When we complained the Mexican guy called the front desk and acted like something was wrong with us for pointing out the obvious. The front desk is very rude. The beach is as big as a balcony which I wouldn’t even call a beach. There are people with dogs everywhere. I will never come back to this area again.

This was the only hotel close to my parents house that allowed pets. We normally stay at La Quintas but none were close enough. This hotel needs a major renovation. It’s just old. It was clean but the carpet was worn out. Wifi works well and the shower was always warm. We stayed for 4 days since it was the only option but I prefer to stay in a more updated and nicer room.

Definitely a good price but not a good value. Paper thin walls, trashed furnishings and even came with livestock (aka roach). Had we seen this upon check in we wouldn’t have stayed, but it was just before we checked out. I paid extra for a bay view… Which was nice, but you had to open your curtains to see it, then all passers by could see you too!

Location is only good thing about this hotel, this was more like a run down outdated motel. Smell from sprinklers was of horrible sewer water. Drove in one night to find one of the staff members having a beer by the dumpster. Had to ask for extra towels because they never left enough. One day we returned we found that the bed was untouched because the bag was left on top of the bed. They only made one of the beds didn’t take out trash or vacuum floors. They did leave extra linens so we could do it ourselves.

The pictures are very deceiving…“Private Beach” was tiny with bricks and concrete poking through the sand. The rooms were ok, but it felt like we were staying in a low-​rate, roadside motel. The pool didn’t not look it had been cleaned and we did not even consider swimming. The toilet seat in our room was old and coming apart, looking very unsanitary. The maid quarters/​closet was dingy, dark and pretty disgusting considering thats where they store cleaning supplies. The price was right, but not worth staying more than a night. Spend the money for better accommodations. You will be glad you did. We saw no signs of renovations, as other reviewers have stated. We would not consider staying here again.

We wanted to stay a little longer in Florida to avoid driving home during the snowpocalypse, so chose this hotel. It’s older, but is being renovated and we aren’t picky about some things that others might find objectionable. There is a chip in the tub and a few little things, but in their defense they had scheduled us for the second floor (better view) but we asked for a first floor after arrival (we’re old and had to walk the dogs often, so, yeah — first floor).
Our room is right next to the little beach and very nice. The staff is extremely friendly and the price is good, considering we’re on the beach in Florida in February. It’s very quiet and tropical and is PET friendly — which is a plus. Lovely grounds and pool. I’m sure it will be even nicer when they finish renovatingt. It’s close to Walmart, drug stores, Publix (a mile or two away) but far off the main road so it’s quiet.

I am not picky about hotels, really, and this one was quite adequate. The price was certainly right for the location!
Other plusses include a little dorm-​style fridge and a microwave in the room. These, if wisely used, can certainly add to the economical factor of your vacation and my mom and I made use of them. Also, there is a blow dryer, so you don’t need to pack yours. I thought that might be the case and took the chance. I was right. The ice machine was working. The staff seemed nice and the room was tidied before we got back from the beach.
There are a few cool things (or things that might be cool) that I didn’t get a chance to try out this trip (it was three days, two nights and we were mostly at the beach). There is a laundromat, which I would have used if I had stayed another day. There is also a restaurant which must be pretty good because there were a lot of cars parked by it. The pool looked nice and the hotel does have its own bayside beach. Mom and I were mostly on the other side of the bridge at Pensacola Beach/​Santa Rosa on the Gulf side, though, so we didn’t use it.
Anyway, on to the minuses… the carpet was gross. This didn’t cause me to freak out because I have carpet I’m replacing soon at home due to wear, tear, and pets. However, it was pretty bad and I could see where it would gross out some people. Also, I dunno if the AC was working optimally because I had to put it down pretty low for it to feel cool. However, when set low, it did cool the room. In general, this is an older hotel and a bit frayed. Additionally, the WiFi wasn’t very functional at all and the coffee was quite weak.
All-​in-​all, I don’t feel I need to stay at a hotel that is nicer than my home, so none of this really put me off, and the price and location are pretty good. I would stay here again. However, when the government shut-​down is over (weather permitting), I think I’d rather camp at the national park campground near Ft. Pickens.

Overall a typical TOURIST trap!!!
1. The private beach isn’t so private. More locals were fishing outside our room.
2. We had a dead cockroach in our room all week. I know we could have said something but housekeeping should have seen it on one of there SIX trips into our room. I will post a picture for proof.
3. Their effort to upgrade are looking good but I recommend you don’t use this place.
4. My mother was in another room and the credit card door lock went down and maintenance guy told me they did not know when it would be fixed because they had to wait for a part and that that «shit» is expensive!

Price was good and they are pet friendly but only giving 3 stars because the rooms are extremely old!
