John started Bergen Brookside, Inc in 1986 as a small repair garage with only 3 employees. Over the years, he has built Bergen Brookside into one of the largest complete automotive repair, collision, and towing company’s in Northern New Jersey. Bergen Brookside currently staffs around 50 employees, operates within nearly 40,000 square feet of workspace spread over 6 buildings, and fuels 30 state-​of-​the-​art tow trucks that can always be spotted throughout the region.

My class 8 truck broke down a couple days ago and I needed to be towed as soon as possible since I was on route 17. I called Bergen Brookside towing I am very glad that I chose them for the towing. They are very polite and professional on the phone and the response time was amazing. They got my truck back to my yard quickly and I was able to repair the truck the same day thanks to Brookside’s expert service. And the best part is the very fair pricing. Trust Brookside, they get my highest recommendation.

This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had in a not so ideal situation. My car needed to be towed off the Parkway, the driver was extremely professional and the office staff was easy to deal with and polite. Highly recommend!

I decided to bring my car here after reading the great reviews on Unilocal when I had to get my car fixed last year. I got rear-​ended pretty badly, and I wanted to go to a good place to get it fixed – I definitely was not disappointed! Honestly, the only thing I had to do was bring my car to their shop. I had given them all the insurance information they needed and they took care of the rest. I don’t know how these things usually work, but I definitely appreciated that I didn’t have to worry about anything. I brought my car in, and some time during the week they gave me a call to tell me that there was a lot more internal damage than they anticipated so they needed to get another quote from the insurance company for that. Once my car was ready, they gave me a call. It was so easy dealing with them!

Finally. A place that knows exactly what they’re doing. Went to get my car repaired. It was making a funny noise and so one could figure out what it was until I came here. They were knowledgeable friendly and took their time with me. I can tell they are true professionals and truly care about their work and customers. Price was just right and they were more than fair. Thanks for the great work car feels like brand new. Seriously I would recommend anyone here. Finally I got my car back!!! Feels like brand new!

Had to get towed from Paramus to Trenton in bitter cold and was lucky to find Brookside. They got to me quickly, and Bill the dispatcher and Rob the river were considerate, professional and friendly. Never fun to have to get towed, but these guys were as good as I could have hoped.

This was my first visit with Bergen Brookside and their service was amazing. Dash (Dosh?) was extremely helpful and honest in explaining the repairs and correlated costs. They got me in by the next day and work was complete within 1.5 days. One important note is that they are open on Saturdays until noon so you can pick up your car on the weekend, unlike other shops that are only open Mon-​Fri. Super clean and large facilities, and great staff! Would definitely come back here for future auto body repairs!

My car was in a bad accident a few weeks ago and my insurance company sent me to Bergen Brookside because they are a direct partner with them. From start to finish I was extremely impressed with how Brookside handled my repairs. Their staff handled all of the communication with my insurance company and they did an amazing job fixing my car. It looks brand new! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs repairs done to their vehicle.

I didn’t have AAA so I had to pay full rate for the tow. 100 $ which is probably market rate. George was my operator and he was great. Super polite, conversation and made sure I knew that this would be a painless procedure. Response time was about 30 minutes and I was stuck about 5 miles north of them. Again, not a bad response time. George literally dropped me right into the service stall at the dealer. Thanks for a painless experience.
