Worst place ever. Gave me wrong proscription and I suffered with eye pain. The male doctor corrected the prescription but the lens came lose. I had it with them the whole month passed in all that chaos. I used it for couple of months but the lens came out. Now my insurance won’t cover. They said it is your insurance who is cutting the lens small dahhhh gave them correct dimensions you idiots. Save your money bad experience. My kids came here as well. Time to change the optometrist for the whole family. They make money by doing medical malpractice.

Worst experience of my life! ok now the one female doctor I wanna say her name was Dr. Brodey im pretty sure shes a assistant doctor or partner because I know its not her own private business Dr. steven or whatever owns it and is a total jerk who rushes the exam and most likely gives you a wrong script for you eyesight because ive always felt going there that my glasses weren’t strong enough… anyway now dr. brodey was a sweetheart but was puzzled me is the lack of attention she paid to back me up when her crappy staff refused to order me my contacts all because I didn’t walk in with them on! I tried explaining I literally just took them out in the car 2 seconds ago so I could clean them and was going to put them back in. the guy I was speaking too still refused and said no you must have them in when you walk in so I said ok fine ill walk to my car put them in and walk back inside then can I order them?! he very nasty said no come back tomorrow im not arguing with you any longer! im like seriously?! I work all day and I don’t work close he just completely ignored me. and dr. brodey didn’t say 2 words to back me up or anything! I guess they just make so much money that they didn’t need my business! HAHA anyway id much rather go somewere that appreciates me and is eager to help! Bergen optometry is the worst ive ever had to deal with point blank! and ive been going here for years even as a little kid and even though ive personally never was given an attitude until now you can just read on there faces they don’t wanna be there!

The office lacks teamwork: On a recent occasion, I requested a copy of my prescription. My chart was no where to be found. Every time this nice woman asked for help from one of her colleagues, the answer was always negative. I appreciated her urgency in helping me but I knew if her colleagues actually helped her, I would left 20 minutes earlier. The front staff forgets«customer service makes you or breaks you«: I’ve witnessed some sort of conflict between the front staff and customers. I understand it’s part of working in a doctor’s office but I don’t understand how the staff cannot deal with the conflicts effectively and professionally. It’s without saying, no matter how difficult a customer can be, the staff ought to know to remain pleasant, composed and professional. It’s not wrong to say, everyone would like to come into an office where the staff is friendly and courteous. Regarding the two doctors I have seen over a period of a year. Not impressed. Why? No human bond. Both didn’t express sincere empathy for my concerns and needs. In terms of the facility, don’t expect a luxury high end office with wood floors and nice couches. It’s plain Jane with old carpets. In addition, this office does not have the top of the line tech equipment like I have seen in other offices. Remember to bring quarters for the meters and remember this is my opinion.

OMG! Dont go here ! Staff are not friendly at all… and worse is the optometrist who happens to be the owner too! Didnt even introduce himself !! He never gave me a chance to tell him my complaint with my eyesight and just assume I needed reading glasses which I dont! He said because Im in my 40s i will be needing reading glasses I try to tell him that my problem and he wouldnt listen And keeps talking!!! And when I try to talk to him he would just interrupt me until I had to tell him«Listen to me!!» Awfull experience !!! Dont waste your time and money there!!!

I’m not really sure what type of relationship the optometrists have with the opticians, but something needs to improve rapidly. I was here to shop for frames on a Saturday afternoon. The only positive I came away with from this visit is that they’re open on Saturday. But that’s where it ends. I was here for 20 – 25 minutes and was never approached by any technician for help. As a matter of fact, I was barely acknowledged when I walked in. Full disclosure: There were 10 other customers in the office while I was there, but I also counted about a half dozen technicians roaming about the office as well. So what gives? Basically, the customer service is horrendous. The other reviewers were right…

I stopped going here! I really like the doctor however the place is so UNPROFESSIONAL, I decided I had enough. The staff including the office manager need some serious customers service coaching development. They are ruining the business there. If you want to be treated like a customer should, don’t bother going there.

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because the doctors are great. The staff however is extremely rude and never follow up with anything. Im really not sure how this place is still in business. Anyway, if you are looking for an ounce of customer service, do yourself a favor and move on. After years of being with them and hoping things will improve I am finally moving on. Too bad because I like their location

I would give this place 4 stars since I felt the doctor was competent and nice. However, their office staff can use some professional development courses in customer service. I will take my business elsewhere. Try Dr. Yang Ping Chang at Accurate Eyecare in Englewood, NJ
