After 5 years as a contractor, I started Get to Work Resumes in order to reach clients directly and provide them with quality documents and personal service at a reasonable price. Most of my business comes through referrals, and I am proud to say that I have worked with whole families, neighbors, and colleagues of clients who have found great success in their careers.

After a career in journalism and publishing, I began writing resumes as a part-​time job to supplement income. Soon after, it became clear that this was an opportunity for me to work for myself while providing clients with a vital service. Many of the instincts that served me well in my previous jobs — interviewing, clear writing, telling interesting stories — have been key to creating resumes that do more than list jobs. I enjoy building relationships with my clients and think of myself as their partner in communicating their talents and unique value.
