The guy is nice, a whole variety of types of old music. Don’t really recommend selling records or anything there, but it’s the best one I know of in Bergen county to sell that kind of music

They have lots of 45s but their LP selection is lacking. Don’t really have much but R&B and rock from the 50s-80s. No new vinyl or CDs. The store is cover in dust, floors are nasty and they smoke inside. What they do have is in good condition and fairly priced. Unfortunately they haven’t realized that vinyl is back, and it’s too bad because it’s a good spot and big store front with a lot of potential.

What a mess! Walked into this place to check it out and found several people drinking in the store during the day. Inquired about purchasing a record player and got laughed at and told to go elsewhere. I’m sure people think this place is cool and eccentric, but I was turned off.

I’m glad I finally made it to the shop. I’d been by here one Saturday afternoon, but they close up at 5PM. The store layout is a bit chaotic, which is fine by me. There are mad amounts of singles — 7″ format, which is great if you’re into that sort of thing, but I am not so much so. There are also heaps of CDs, but I bypassed them. I got to looking through the 12″ vinyl selection, and I didn’t make it far before I’d found a few things to buy and maxed out my 45-minute time limit. Pricing seems a bit fuzzy, but the owner seems an approachable guy. What was priced was a bit on the high side, considering condition of some of the merch, but we were able to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. This is the joy of dealing with a store owner personally, and not an associate of some soul-sucking corporation. I’m looking forward to spending the remainder of my birthday money here.

Pretty good selection of vinyl and cd s. The lps I purchased from here were all in very good shape and the prices were good for the quality. Definitely recommend

I’ve lived within a short drive of this store since I was a teenager and would ride my bicycle all the way from Little Ferry to sort through the stacks here. I don’t get by here as often as I would like these days, but always worth a trip for 45’s, LP’s and CD’s, used and new. A ton of memorabilia and autographs on the wall, this place has been here for at least 35 years or so. A good assortment of all musical genres, worth the occasional trip whether you are a hardcore or casual music collector. Try to stump Craig with some musical trivia. One of the last remaining old school record stores.

An authentic vinyl record store! If you’re looking for a 45 for your jukebox(as I often do) then this is your place! They have so many 45’s you are bound to find something you’ll want. What a collection! So worth the 10min drive out of NYC to hunt for some good tunes on vinyl. I love going here!
