Meet the Business Owner
John-Claude H.
Business Owner
John-Claude entered the family business in 1982-joining his brother, Joe, Jr., and his father, founder Joseph Hallak, Sr. Shortly after completing his bachelors and masters in economics, John-Claude was tapped by the family to help expand the firm’s Manhattan operation with a 5,500-sq ft production facility (now, 24,000 sq ft) in Hackensack, NJ. He is involved in virtually every aspect of the business, from direct client interaction to mapping future growth directives. He has a special affinity for developing new technologies to help perfect Hallak’s already rigorous and exacting cleaning, tracking and inspection processes. John-Claude designed and wrote much of Hallak’s custom software. He is passionate about preserving the heritage created by his father whose attention to detail and dedication to customer service built Hallak into one of the country’s leading couture cleaners. He has spoken before many domestic and international groups on the topic of customer relations management.
