Looks unassuming from the outside and the inside, but the food I got today knocked my socks off!!! Quick easy and so cheap for the amount of food I got! I could easily get 2 – 3 meals out of my order. I got the roast pork with the fried rice. Delicious!

Two blocks from HUMC, this is my favorite lunch spot at work. The food is amazing. You go in and pick from a buffet. The portion size is huge and reasonably priced! The beef stew is my favorite and the rice and beans are always perfect. Only thing is you have to pay cash but no worries there is an atm inside! Highly recommend this place!(Don’t get scared away by the look from the outside or the location)

Cheap, fast, no BS, authentic spanish food. If you want to satisfy that craving this is the place to go. Its better to get the food as take out since they have limited seating. Not in the best area of town but worth going to.

Yummy empanadas and platanos at this tiny kitchen on Newman Street in Hackensack. Food specials daily, Columbian/Dominican spanish food. I really like the aroz con pollo. The ladies will accommodate big(ish) orders on the fly.

Excellent customer service good food. Would have gave 5 stars but i don’t like the $ 15 minimum policy for cards. It cost me $ 5 to withdraw money from atm to pay for my $ 10 meal –_–

I was craving Spanish food and I’m from New York and I used to go to my Dominican spot and let me tell you it is just as good as the New York spot I found the spot on Unilocal and I’m not disappointed and I will be ordering from here from now on whenever I’m craving Spanish food.

Ok, not in the best locations for the area… but well worth it for authentic Spanish food. It looks like a school cafeteria slop shop, but the food is banging. I got the rice and beans and sweet plantains with pulled pork over it. On the side was an onion/tomato/cilantro mix(really good) The lady even cut a piece I the crispy skin if the pork. I thought it was gonna be gross but ended up tasting great. Ask for the hot sauce on the side, they make their own. ReallY fresh and good food. I didn’t give it a five because of location, but sometimes these great finds aren’t in the best spots.

Small but a gem of a restaurant. Me and my coworkers have breakfast and or lunch here a lot. We love the food and recommend it to everyone. My fav are mangu, yuka, goat, ox-tail, ribs, grill steaks etc. Clean, and great service and staff. We do mainly take outs. There are few seating for quick sit down to eat.
