Very bad service, worst staff. Only reason this place is in business coz of Hackensack Medical center.

Very friendly and honest servers. I recently went here to buy the fall graham latte and they only had the tall«fall» cup. They charged my gold card for Grande because I mistakenly said Grande instead of tall. The manager quickly asked for my starbucks gold card to correct the charges even when I said there was no need to. For that reason and for serving me the extra hot«like me» fall cup, I give this establishment with SHINY5STARS ***** :) :) :)

I came to this Starbucks on a Sunday night to catch up with one of my friends over coffee. This starbucks is on the smaller side, but it does still provides some tables to sit down at. Do to the proximity to Hackensack University Medical Center it can be very crowded at times. As soon as i entered the coffee shop i was greeted by one of the Baristas. To me, having a well trained and polite staff is key to a great coffee shop. Overall i would rate this establishment as follows: Coffee quality 3.5 stars(typical starbucks), atmosphere is 3 stars and the staff is 3.5– 4 stars. One downside to this starbucks is the limited/restrictive parking during the day. I would definitely recommend this establishment and would go back again. The views expressed are of my own and are my true personal experience at this establishment. My personal experience may not reflect this actual establishment, their quality or someone else’s experience at the establishment.

I’m going to give this place 5 stars because, what more do we want from a Starbucks than coffee and a place to brainstorm. Definitely coming back.

Live right nearby this Starbucks and it’s very convenient as it’s located right across the street from Hackensack Hospital and neighbors right next door 2 The restaurant Cosi and Duane Reade Drug Store/Pharmacy. U can absolutely never go wrong with anything u buy from Starbucks at all.

The low down. this location is ALWAYS busy because of its location. It services the community, employees of a huge hospital plus their visitors, as well as tons of local businesses. That being said, if you want tour delicious beverage(because it’s always good), you must be patient… or go somewhere else PERIOD. I don’t fault the workers for working in a small store and have to service hundreds of people a day. Perhaps in the future another will open close by, until then… deal with it, like I do!

This people have no sense of urgency 15 mins at the line and there 6 of them here. Cashier keeps on walking away to get the pastries or buy stuff in the oven. 3 of them walking around seem like they taking inventory but if they see a line going almost at the door shouldn’t they stop and help customer? Is ashamed

SLOW and sucky! Will make 5 fraps before pouring me a cup of coffee!!! Wind up waiting in line longer than it takes me to drink. If you don’t want anxiety and high blood pressure by the time you leave– avoid at all costs.

Very very hard to park. It’s great once you get in there but often I have to go somewhere else sue to the lack of parking at this Starbucks. If at the hospital you can walk

This place is jammed and jamming, very busy and located in a small shopping center near the local hospital. It’s almost like they are giving the java away for free, it is so busy in here. There wasn’t much around except for a DD coffee shop and a sit down diner I didn’t have time for, so this was the best option at the time. Convenient location.

Staff is excellent! I am always greeted with a big smile and given top notch service. They also seem to have great relationships with local everyday Starbucks drinkers. Can get crowded during a rush from the hospital but other than that it is a very comfortable environment.

I asked for my drink. was asked if I wanted whipped cream, which I responded no, thanks. I end up getting whipped cream and I told her barista who grabbed my cup and slid the cream off the top and then handed it back with my drink spilled over. I mean it was ridiculously sloppy, they weren’t busy so not sure of the issue. they’re too immature joking and flirting around with each other.

Nice little SB that is always packed because it is next to the busiest hospital in NJ /NY. And it also draws the crowds from nearby residential housing. If you know anything about the Prospect Ave then you know for a fact that it is packed with apartment complexes. I used to live in one of those until I recently relocated to West New York. There’s really nothing close by in terms of good coffee shop or even decent place to eat. However, this SB is conveniently located in that tiny mall with Cosi, Duane Reade and Bank of America. It used to be my favorite stop to catch up with friends, working or even just reading couple of good books; only problem is you have to find a spot and claim it. It’s very difficult to find a seat so large groups are not recommended. The baristas are helpful, courteous and professional. I am not a fan of talking up a storm with your local baristas. I like to get my coffee and get going. I appreciate that a LOT.

Lines are usually long(typical) but at other locations, I feel the baristas really try to provide quality service while keeping the fast pace. Very crowded, loud and tables are not very clean. Would only recommend for an in an out type of experience… definitely not for working remotely/important meetings.

I hate this Starbucks. The line is always crazy long and the workers behind the counter move like snails. I’m a patient person. I don’t expect to be in and out in 30 seconds, but in this store, it’s always someone different making drinks and they all just move incredibly slow. They never make the black tea lemonade right. It tastes different every time I stop here. The ONLY reason I still come here is because it’s the only Starbucks on my way to work, unless I drive out of the way. And sometimes I do, if I really need some caffeine and I don’t want to deal with this mess. Inconsistent beverages and aggravatingly slow staff. And the parking lot here sucks, not that it’s their fault, just sayin…
