Hi,
I purchased 4 Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus tires online because the price was amazing. I noticed that I thought the installation was high, but after all was said and done, it was still cheaper than the competitors. I was called before the appointment was scheduled and they said I could come right in that day to get the tires. I waited several hours at the store and finally the work was done, they were a little pushy about brakes, but I thought that this was «normal» for mechanics, and I told them that I ONLY use oem brakes because I have used almost everything and didn’t like any vibration on the wheel when braking. I did end up doing the brakes myself and noticed that they didn’t remove the old wheel weights, they just slapped new ones on too.
The techs replaced the tires and did the alignment. almost $ 800 later, my car shook like it had epilepsy while I was on the highway. I asked about what type of warranty they had for balancing, and they said none. I ended up having to bring the car somewhere else and pay $ 200 for road force balancing, which I should have done in hindsight anyway. I am really upset because the money that I thought I saved, I had to spend elsewhere. I would stay away unless you want to get low quality work for low prices.

Replace my battery quickly and for a reasonable price.

Over two hours on a TPMS replacement. Pretty sure they screwed up or lost something because about four of them kept looking at my tire, a device and kept going through a box for a different device? At this point I hope my tire doesn’t fall off. Not sure if they know what they’re exactly doing but I’m just a bit worried. Trust the reviews and DON’T bring your car here.

This place sucks. Almost 2 hours for a tire rotation and oil change. I was the 2^nd customer in line and they let higher priority customers in front of me and ignored my vehicle. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Absolutely horrible! They lie and rip people off they charged me synthetic oil when I only asked for regular oil and told me that I asked for synthetic. I come to find out that they did the same thing to two of my friends they told one friend that her brand new car needed the synthetic oil. They have a sign that says «you pay for work you authorize» and I am ashamed of them for taking advantage of people the way they do. I rather drive 30 mins to a different sts than drive up the block to this location

Good and reliable service. This is my goto spot! They usually have what I need in stock. They are quick and polite. Once They didn’t have the tire I needed so they just ordered it within an hour. I recommend this place to everyone.

The staff at STS were great, I needed specific tires with little notice given. They had them delivered and installed before the snow storm hit that evening!

I recently had an issue with my car mirror and I stopped by STS during my lunch break and immediately upon arriving I was helped by the gentleman at the front desk. He proceeded to guide me to one of the mechanics who would assist me in fixing the issue with my left side mirror housing. I have to say I’m very cautious on who I let service my Lexus but everyone at STS was more then helpful. They fixed the problem and I walked out very happy with the level of service from all these gentleman. I will definitely be back in the future and I will be recommending my friends here as well. Lexus quoted me over $ 400 for the repair on my vehicle and these guys did a superb job and saved me hundreds of dollars. These guys are very honest and will not try to rip you off in paying more then you need to.

Yuri the manager was not in this day. Went in for new tires (4), the tires recommended by the man behind the counter when installed rubbed on fenders (too tall), tell me that’s what I wanted well ok but the right size please (don’t they have a database?) Tires are directional and they installed 2 out of 4 backwards (not kidding). again removed reinstalled. they don’t torque the lugnuts they impact gun them on which is a big nono and the shraeder valves were not lined up with the tire marking. couldn’t wait to get out of there (2 hrs later on a friday) came in a 2pm left at 4:30.

Youry and Timur helped me out when I had a flat tire and needed an oil change. Price for a new tire was reasonable but the oil change price was the best in the area. They were even nice to let me know of their rebate special they were having. I would’ve given them 5 stars if I felt that Youry didn’t treat me like an incompetent person when it came to the prices of an air filter and cabin filter but thank God for smart phones! He was kind enough to admit his mistake and also tried his best to match the price I showed him. Besides the filter issue, they did a decent job and were kind enough to even help me when I had a flat tire 2 miles away over the phone. I would definitely come back again if I’m in the neighborhood.

I recently changed auto insurance so the new company needed me to get a CARCO inspection done. Yuri here was great, had me in & out of the place in 10 minutes on a Saturday.

I’ve been an STS customer for some time now but I recently moved to Englewood, NJ in 2012 so I get my car serviced at the STS in Hackensack. I’ve always received excellent customer service from their center and the same goes for the one located in Hackensack, I have always had good experiences at this location so I am not sure where all the negative comments are coming from. As a female I tend to feel like i’m being cheated but the guys at STS are always upfront with me and explain everything to me so that I understand what’s going on with my car. I always run the recommendations that STS gives me by my dad to make sure that I am not being misled and my dad has never had an issue with the work that was done on my car. I definitely feel like my car is well taken care of at STS.

This place is horrible. Let me say that again… Horrible. I want to stress that.
On two separate occasions I’ve had them tell me that I needed hundreds of dollars worth of work done when all I did was bring it in for an oil change and to get the rear tires replaced. I’ve heard stories from multiple people about STS being very shady with what work in their words «needed» to be done. A co-​worker was told she needed new tires when she had literally bought them 2 months earlier and another co-​worker brought in a van for some light repair and was told that it needed thousands of dollars worth of repair. I would avoid this place at all costs.

it was an emergency and I needed a tire… I was going to drive to Sears, but saw STS and stopped since it was closer. They took me right away and took care of my tire. Although my tire is a pretty standard tire, they didn’t have my exact match but they gave me the closest match they had. The whole thing took under an hour and it was reasonable priced. If you have an emergency and need a replacement tire ASAP, I would recommend stopping here.

My wife was here a month ago for tires and an oil change. They told her that because they couldn’t get her oil filter off so they just left it on and only charged her for the new oil. I grew up in garages doing oil changes and tune ups and I’ve N E V E R heard of a case where an oil filter is impossible to remove (I would have done the oil change myself, had it not been for the fact she needed tires). I’ve even bored holes into the filter housing to use an awl for leverage, but never did I leave an old one on. These idiots are lucky I was home with our baby instead of being there, since I would have refused to pay for the new oil. What good is new oil after it runs through a dirty filter?

If i could give this place zero stars i would They stole my freon My ac was having problems, the cold air was cutting in and out. I went to a mechanic near my girlfriend’s place in brooklyn, and they told me my freon level was fine, and all I needed was to replace my fuse that runs the ac. They didn’t have the part, so they weren’t able to fix it. I so I went to STS near where I lived a few days later, asking them if they had the part. They took my car to the back away from my view and told me they will «look» at it. 30 minutes later, they told me I had no freon. I didn’t believe them and left. But this time, my ac was not cooling at all. I went back to the mechanic in brooklyn and they told me my freon was gone. STS IS VERY SHADY!!! They took my freon! STAY AWAY!!!
