We are a complete Hallmark card and gift shop. We carry cards, gifts, candy, jewelry and fashion merchandise. Our major lines include Yankee Candle, Godiva Chocolatier, Life is Good, Lenox China, Ganz, Willow Tree, Precious Moments, Woodstock Chimes, Crabtree & Evelyn, Santa Barbara Lolita and many more.

History

Established in 1972.

Baron’s Hallmark has been proud to serve the Hackettstown area for 39 years and hopes to continue for many more. It started back in March of 1972 when Norm Baron purchased the card shop in Hackettstown Mall called Fifth Avenue Card Shop. The store was later renamed Baron’s Hallmark, as was the store he purchased in Mansfield Plaza in 1983. Our Hackettstown Mall store was closed in 2003 when the landlord demolished the Mall to build a Lowe’s home improvement center.

Tracy Anfinsen (née Mitchell) joined our operation in 1986 and later became the manager of the Hackettstown Mall store. Since 2003, she has been the manager of the Mansfield store.

MariAnn Perticari joined the Mansfield store in 2000 and is now our assistant manager. Tracy, MariAnn, and the sales associates who work with them all do a great job in making sure we have the merchandise you want.

I grew up in Huntington Station, NY. I went to college in Boston and moved to New Jersey when I purchased the Hackettstown Mall store in 1972. I currently live in Panther Valley.
