This is a small independent sandwich store right on Main St. I saw a Boar’s Head sign in the window and being from NY I stopped in hopes of finding a good sandwich. The selection of Boar’s Head meat was very limited. I ordered a Turkey Sub. The bread was fresh and very good. The meat was Boar’s Head, I saw the girl behind the counter cut it. But unfortunately it was not very fresh. It was palatable at best. In all the years of eating sandwiches I was never disappointed in Boar’s Head Meats until this experience. I was really taken back that a company such as Boar’s Head would allow their product to be sold in such a place since they hold their brand in such high regard. Needless to say I won’t be going back. I was in the place for about 15 minutes and during that time I was the only customer in the place. There was me, the girl that made my sandwich and the manager or owner that was sitting at a table playing on a computer. I should have walked out when I walked into a deli at lunch time and it was empty. The owner/manager didn’t even acknowledged my entry into the store. I would have been happier eating a sandwich from the Quick Check across the street.
