Dr. Itani is a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon. He did his internship in surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore MD and completed his residency training in general surgery at Downstate — SUNY at Brooklyn. He then pursued a dedicated vascular surgery fellowship for 2 years at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Itani is Board certified in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Itani is a member of the American College of Phlebology, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society and a Fellow of the American College of Surgery and a candidate member of the Society of Vascular Surgery. He has contributed to and authored several publications in the medical field and has given medical presentations on vascular surgery across the country and abroad. Dr. Itani is also a registered vascular technologist certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is proficient in the application of ultrasound technology.
