Phip’s Moving LLC

Steve from Phip’s Moving successfully did my apartment move from today (6÷7÷15) Jersey to Boston.
I will list down why they are great.
1. Reliable — I trusted them to do my move with out my involvement i.e. I loaded the stuff from Jersey and I trusted them to deliver my stuff to my Boston apartment, which they did with absolutely no problem. Kudos!
2. Affordable rate — I think they are the only to cater to this segment where people want to move with a budget in their mind. Of all the quotes I received, nothing could beat what Steve from Phip’s Moving quoted right at the beginning.
Every one else quoted at least 3 times more what I paid for with Phip’s Moving.
3. On time and perfect — They gave a pick up time of 6 am and they were here. They reached Boston at an amazing by afternoon and they were done unloading by 3. I was very relieved that they managed this for me without any glitch. Thank you for that.
4. Professional and transparent — I was explained everything before the move regarding charges, overtime (did not happen in my case), insurance, etc. I think they are doing a great and I will recommend them to anyone who is moving from Jersey. Not sure where all they can provide service.

My husband and I were truly impressed with the level of service provided by Phip’s Moving LLC in our move from Boston, MA to Washington, DC. We originally chose them because they offered competitive pricing, but also proof of the certifications and licenses required to complete inter-​state moves, as well as insurance. Before the move, they were extremely flexible with us as we scheduled our move-​date. About a month prior to the move, we decided we wanted to change the move-​date and inquired about this and they graciously agreed to the change. On the days of the move (they picked up our things on Wednesday and delivered them on Thursday), Steven and Ed kept us aware of their arrival time. After they arrived, all of our boxes and furniture (from our 2 bedroom, 2^nd floor apartment) were loaded in an hour and a half! They brought a third person to DC and had all of our furniture in our apartment (in the locations within the apartment that we requested!!) in less than an hour. We have unpacked everything and NOTHING WAS BROKEN!!! Plates, wine glasses, picture frames, mirrors, vases were all intact. They were extremely professional throughout the process, and we appreciated them taking the time to explain the plan and what to expect. We also found them very likable. Overall, we would highly recommend Phip’s Moving LLC, and hope we have the chance to hire them again!

I have now used Phip’s 4 times and every time had been excellent. They are hands down the best moving company we have ever used. I’ve read very good reviews on other sites so I was surprised to see the reviews on this site. Specially since their good review on here isn’t recommended seems odd to me. Steven and his team have always been on time and efficient. They have the best rates, their truck has always been large enough (we have a 3 bedroom house), they have secured and protected all our belongs and we haven’t had one damaged item. Not only do these guys know what they are doing they have more than accommodating with my crazy work schedule, they are also very nice, polite and professional. I also received their mass mailing and it didn’t bother me in the slightest as I am already a reference and have given them permission to use my email as a form of contact. I have referred Phips to family, friends and coworkers and everyone I’ve referred has shared the same great moving experience. I hope other individuals looking for a moving company don’t get deterred by the two bad reviews as those are not my experience or the experience of the many people I’ve referred. Do your research read all reviews from all sites. Even ask for their reference list you can contact actual customers. Finding a reliable honest moving company is hard work, I’ve been through a few and Phip’s is a by far the best!
