Just returned from Walmart in Hackettstown, NJ. One of the nicer Walmarts I have visited. We had ANDREW as our cashier and I just wanted to express how courteous, patient and professional he was when handling the customer ahead of us who was the exact opposite. I wish I spoke up when I was there, but I was too busy trying to wrap around my head what just happened, standing in line with my mouth dropped to the floor. The customer immediately in front of me was so disrespectful to Andrew yet he maintained a cool demeanor, was very patient, and handled her screaming at the top of her lungs, very professionally. Again, I am sorry I didn’t speak up. That’s part of the problem with this world; you’re afraid to say anything because of crazy people who have no respect for others, always want a hand out and are basically just plain rude and inconsiderate.

Went here today. I have celiac disease with a soy allergy. Amy’s ranch dressing was nowhere to be found, and I searched forever reading every single can of tuna and not one of them was soy free. Not an allergy friendly store overall. A few gluten free items.(However I do commend whoever suggested they carry«just mayo» I had been buying it for almost 9 dollars online and it’s 3 bucks and change here) overall I wish this walmart was more allergy friendly. Specifically soy free because alot of people who have a gluten allergy also cannot digest soy.

One of the nicer Walmarts I’ve been to. It has the grocery store part as well as the regular store part. It’s usually neat, clean, organized and cashiers are decent. I don’t know why people have such high expectations when shopping at Walmart, come on, it’s WALMART! Don’t expect the red carpet to be rolled out for you and why not try being really nice to the employees first, they’ve probably had a long day dealing with impossible to please people all day.(And no I don’t work here, I just sympathize with retail workers)

I really dread going here. I only stop in when I absolutely have to. Checking out is usually unpleasant. Either the cashier is as slow as possible or is basically unhappy to be doing what they’re doing. Maybe Walmart should pay their workers more money?

It’s Walmart. No high-end stuff here, but if you’re looking for cheaper stuff, it works. Their grocery section isn’t too bad. Just be careful driving in their parking lot… between other nutty drivers and pedestrians not caring where they’re walking, the last thing you want is a police report written up when all you wanted to do is pick up some condoms and maybe a pair of socks.
