We love it there! Never had a bad meal, staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. BYOB is always a big plus! Hubby and I love the pizza with fresh buffalo mozzarella! Mmm We always get it for appetizer and then we share an entrée. Prices are reasonable too!

Was our first visit and certainly not our last. We had a party of 14 to celebrate a birthday and the service was excellent, the food was amazing! There was so much that we are going to enjoy it again at home. There were so many choices so I can’t wait to return to try other things on the huge menu! It is certainly a busy BYOB, and the parking can get a bit tight. The only critique I have is the parking which was not well lit and I did not see a handicap spot unless it was occupied. Bruno’s will certainly be my first choice for excellent Italian food!

Their Sicilian margarita pie is the best around, it’s one of my family’s favorites. Recently I went here for some take-out spaghetti and meatballs and ravioli. A bit pricey coming in at $ 30+ but the portions were very big. It was a decent meal, though it lacked the flavor and finesse that a top notch restaurant should posses. I like Bruno’s, but I mostly only like the Sicilian pizza, their regular pies aren’t as good.

I am giving top score for Bruno’s but consider I only ate one item from the menu, the Sicilian Margherita. It was absolutely delicious! I will also pay for good food, and prices here are a little high. I wouldn’t return if the food wasn’t up to par, but I will definitely return.

I love Brunos! The reason I am keeping a star off is because it can get a tad too pricey for an Italian meal in the burbs. The restaurant is BYOB and there is(coincidentally) a liquor store right next door. It is kinda randomly located as the restaurant(and liquor store) are randomly in a neighborhood of homes. The food is very good Italian — I’ve ordered take out and dined in many times without a single mediocre meal. The sheer size of the servings is outrageously large and all the pasta is fresh. They also have gluten free pasta for my glutard friends!

YUMMY, HUGE portions, but prefer smaller portions for a smaller price!

We really love Bruno’s! Almost every time a call we get the same thing, one each of the Sicilian pies they have which are amazing. All our friends ask if we’re getting the«crack pizza» when they come over, that’s how good it is! The other day we took a chance and ordered something different. We got the ripens fresco and the chicken and artichoke pasta. Both were fantastic. We can’t wait to try the tomato pie after all of the reviews.

Wow. We went to brunos because of a friends recommendation last night and are we sure glad we did. This little hideaway turned out to be an incredible italian restayrant. The owner seats you and discusses the food with every customer with delight. He truly loves making food for others. We are so glad we found brunos. Btw– you better have reservations on the weekend nights or get there real early. Its that popular. Bravo!

Bruno’s has been our favorite local Italian restaurant for years, but something’s changed. Our last take out order included ice cold in the center stuffed shells — almost as if they had been reheated from frozen — and flavorless soup. The time before that, dining in, we didn’t even have our leftovers boxed to go. Not sure we want to go for the three strike rule — two might be our limit.

Came here with a group from work for lunch. The tomato pie was a very good recommendation from a fellow Unilocaler. The dessert was good as well. I would return if I was in the area.

One of the best tomato pies in the region, on par or exceeding most of South Philly. The baked ziti is likewise amazing, as is the garlic bread. A great classic Italian restaurant nestled in a tiny NJ strip mall, a byob with a wine store next door(despite the zip code, it is technically in Haddon Twp, where the liquor flows between dry Collingswood and Haddonfield). Bruno greets guests, and the servers are great as well. Off the beaten path, but one of South Jersey(and the region)‘s best.

Meh. This restaurant is seriously lackluster if you’ve eaten Italian food that has been cooked and seasoned correctly. The entire menu is brimming with very Americanized Italian food. The pizza wasn’t even that great. Bummer!

New parking lot. Nice liquor store. Good pizza. Great location. The deserts are not so bad either. There is a great little place close by that does a killer backyard BBQ the steaks are the bomb.

wtf happened?! The staff was different, the cannoli was below average, the bread was different… There must be new owners at Bruno’s. I would not go back. The once legendary portions were smaller, the food was salty, the fish tank was empty… Wtf happened?

This is, without a doubt, my favorite pizza in South Jersey! Great homemade sauce and a crust with the just right combination of crunch/chew. Typical family style Italian restaurant atmosphere. The folks are friendly and the owner always comes by to check on things. It’s BYOB and there is a liquor store right next door. Parking can be a challenge.

My parents have been coming here for months and love it, so while visiting them we went to Bruno’s for lunch. The atmosphere was cute, very quiet since we went early on a Sunday(around noon). We each ordered large pasta dishes, I had the mezzaluna special and it was fantastic. The portions are huge and we each took half home for dinner later. Everything was fresh and the pasta is light because it’s freshly made, not heavy with preservatives. The staff was friendly and service was quick. We will definitely be enjoying another lunch there again before I leave!

The folks there are very friendly. We were only there for the take-out. Had the white vegetarian pie which was one of the best I’d ever had. Other than the canned mushrooms, everything else from the spinach, broccoli, peppers, onions and tomatoes were chopped fresh and loaded onto a crisp crust pie. We also ordered the sicilian pepperoni pie. They also have a brick oven which we’ll have to try next time. The only thing is they’re quite pricey. Both pies were around $ 20 – 25 each. But the family and I were very satisfied. While this is a BYOB place, they do have Shirley’s Liquors next door.

Went here last night for diner. Parking was pretty tough — we waited a few minutes for a spot. We stopped next door and got some cheap wine beforehand which was super convenient. When we walked in, one of the bussers kinda pointed and grunted but we weren’t sure what that mean. A few minutes later, a waitress(with some better manners) politely directed us to our table. We waited a few minutes too long to order and ended up getting the calamari appetizer($ 18), small calzone, and I got a slice of Sicilian. The calamari was HUGE– the largest portion I have ever seen at a restaurant. We could have just split that as our dinner. We barely finished it and only finished it because we were starving. Then our dinner came out. My slice of Sicilian was huge — so large I asked if it was 1 slice or 2. My waitress just laughed. The pizza was really good, one of the best slices I’ve had in SJ. My boyfiend’s small calzone was easily large enough for 3 people to split. The bill came to $ 30-some, which wasn’t bad considering we spent $ 18 on the calamari. Would go back again — I need to try their tomato pie. Let me add that to my to-do list…

By far a favorite in my family, just wish I still lived nearby. Anytime anyone mentions pizza, my mom raves about this place. Their sauce is fresh(at least in summer it was!) and they make their own mozzarella for some of the pizzas. The entrees I’ve had have been wonderful, too. Pasta, chicken, and seafood. Not to mention the wonderful staff. I also love that it is BYOB — and there’s a liquor store right next door(just remember to bring cash as they have a $ 10 credit minimum). There’s two sides to the place — one for pickup and pizza slices, the other is the actual restaurant(the décor is rather dated in that side, especially). The pizzeria side is a great place to get a slice on the weekend.

Great tomato pie and Sicilian pizza. The rest of the food is just ok. Pizza is perfect for takeout. If you eat in it is byob and you can get wine next door.
