2016 SUBARU Blue tooth not iPhone compatible.
My sales man lied to me, though I don’t blame him he didn’t know. But this dealership is not standing behind the tech in their cars!
I got my 2016 WRX July 3 and the radio blue tooth has never functioned properly (with iPhone 6 or 6S). I drive more than 600 miles a week and my car already has 26,000 miles one it. So I’ve been to the dealer a lot for scheduled maintenance (which I paid for upfront for a discount). Every time I bring the car in I have said the Bluetooth doesn’t work and it needs too, they would give me an excuse about how so and so knows about that and he’s not here (well have him call me). So after 3 months in my brand new car with no working music and no hands free calling (one of the ways I was able to justify the purchase) they said ok we will replace your radio. So they took 5 hours to do the swap and the new radio was worse than the first. The next step was it needed to be updated «should take maybe an hour». I left and came back an hour later, then waited around another 3 hours only to find out it didn’t actually need an update they just needed to completely waste my day. Now my radio still doesn’t work and apparently it’s my fault for having an iPhone. By the way I travel for work and rent plenty of cars, and the Bluetooth always works great with my iPhone.
The bottom line is the people at the service desk are not at all good at their job. The only part they seem to have down is taking you keys and putting a tag on your car. Oh and saying I don’t know. If you have a question save your self the frustration and ask google instead.
Apart from the radio I love my WRX and I plan to buy another brand new one in a few years. Guess what, not from this place. It’s a shame because it’s only 10 minutes away from my house. It seems to take me all day to get anything done at Steve Lewis. So why not take a trip to a different dealer and see how that one is.

I would not recommend this dealership! A couple years after purchasing the car from Steve Lewis Subaru, my wife took the car in for an oil change and a diagnostic of her outback and she was told that it would cost $ 7000 to repair her car and that the engine was going to seize. We decided to take the car home and in about an hour I was able to find out from forums, what the issue was. Three conversations with Steve Lewis Subaru mechanics, and none of them could give me a straight and honest answer. It took $ 400 to repair and fix codes and issues at another mechanic. I will be honest, the buying experience was fair and positive but the service and customer respect was some of the worst I have seen and I am in my fifties. Buy a car here but do not have it serviced!!! This is my honest and humble opinion, cheers!

Truly awesome car dealership, and that’s saying a lot for me, as car shopping is right up there with dental hygiene on my list of fun stuff to do.
I bought a Subaru Forester here in 2013 from Jesse, and a family member ended up buying one too a few months later at the same place, with the same dealer. I was planning to get a used car, and he convinced me of the benefits of a new car and he was truly right… I am so happy I followed his advice. I didn’t feel hustled or pressured at all, I felt he really cared about what was best for me and my family.
Jesse was truly the nicest, kindest, coolest car salesperson I’ve ever dealt with, and he still checks in with us to see how we’re doing with our cars, sends cards, etc. He really got to know me first, develop personal rapport and figure out what my needs were. This is just how they do things at Steve Lewis. I’ve bought cars from other places in my life, and shopped around but never had the kind of friendly, trust-​inspiring personal touch I received here. And… I had bad credit at the time, and am self-​employed. Myron in financing went to huge lengths to try to qualify me for a loan, and it wasn’t easy! He was not going to let me leave until he helped me get that financing I needed.
The car I bought here has served me well, and I only take it to the dealership to have the regular service. I ended up buying a second service plan here when the first one ran out, because I am so attached to going here for services… the people here always know me, treat me like family, and are honest and fair. There have been times they haven’t even charged me for services they should (like checking my brakes when I was worried, and balancing my tires when potholes were bad), and once after I had a tire blowout from glass on the roads, they went to huge lengths to try to measure my tires in different places to assure that my tire warranty would cover the replacement (ironically, I had been in the day before with concerns about the tire wear and they told me I wasn’t worn down enough yet to replace them… but after the blowout the next day they did everything they could to make things right, even though they could have easily stuck by their first statement).
If I had to buy another car, in a second, I would buy it here, even if I lived far away!

Wow after reading some of the other reviews I’m shocked. This was one of the friendliest car dealerships I’ve been to. From the moment we walked in we were greeted. Never was there even an ounce of aggressive car salesmanship going on. John Acadia was our salesman. Not pushy, not a know it all, just a normal guy who had answers for our questions. We went on a test drive and my wife and I just talked about the car and he gave us directions from the back seat. He encouraged us to drive it as long as we wanted. Back at the dealership I made an offer and within 5 minutes they accepted my offer. We did the paperwork in about 15 minutes and then he passed me on to their finance guy Myron. Again, another friendly, professional sort who was very easy going and made the process a snap. I mean a snap. I was done in his office in about 10 minutes. We drove out with our used car about an hour after driving in. The car is so far a gem. Runs great, looks great and clearly was very well taken care of. I have bought and sold cars since I was 16 and some times it feels like pulling teeth. This experience at Steve Lewis Subaru was painless and as easy as it gets. I drove out from Boston to get the car I found on the internet. Actually I thought the car looked even better in person. I can’t say enough nice things about this dealership. It is clear they work very hard to please and in my case they did an outstanding job. Congrats gang you’ve earned my business now, and I wouldn’t hesitate giving you my business in the future.

I’ve brought 2 Suburu’s in the past 2 years mainly for the AWD. Living in Western MA, there comes a time when you get tired of being scared to go out when it snows. I got caught in Heath when it started snowing hard. I didn’t slip and slide down the hill; I could feel the car gripping the road at all times. Two of my friends who’ve had Prius ’ have also changed to Suburu’s this year. I like the staff at Steve Lewis. They always been attentive to my needs. Griffin Paquette is my to go person. If she doesn’t have the answer, she fixes me up with the person that does.

Absolute worst business I have ever stepped foot in. I purchased a 2015 Legacy from Steve Lewis and have had nothing but problems. The big one being a sunroof that leaks when it snows, rains, or goes through a car wash. The dealership has been nothing but rude and cannot fix the problem nor admits that there is a problem. I’m sorry but if water coming into the car is normal I think they need to reevaluate their logic. Rude service manager, rude general manager, and employees so full of shit it’s coming out their eyes. After the sale was complete and I started having the issues the general manager Joe «deemed it best we part ways» yeah that’s because I spent 30 grand and you continues to Bill Subaru of America for the attempted and failed repairs. Good luck if you decide on buying a car from this sorry excuse for a dealership. Most fake people I have ever met in my entire life. If negative stars were possible they would earn them.

Steve Lewis basically blew the easiest sale of their corporate life, for basically treating me and my girlfriend like totally 1960’s Mad Man BS.
Oh man, where to begin. We knew that we were buying a Subaru, so basically, we were going in ready to buy. My girlfriend and I share a car, so what ever decision we were going to make, we were going to make together. Long story short, we test drove 3 cars. We sat down with the salesman (southern guy, with very creepy machismo vibes), and he became WAY TOO AGGRESSIVE with us. Seriously, it was uncomfortable. At one point, and this is what killed the sale for them, he basically told my girlfriend to shut up so that the «men could talk.» I’m paraphrasing here, but he completely strong armed her out of the conversation, and would only talk to me (the male in the room). Like I said, it was like something out of Mad Men. It was disgusting, and you would think that a Subaru dealership in Western Mass would be a little more friendlier to Women (I know right, I’m surprised too, it’s like a bad pc joke or something.) I can’t tell you how crappy this place made me feel, so bad in fact that I came out of «Yelp Retirement“just to give these guys one star.
Seriously, We walked in ready to buy a car (out of necessity too), and they really F’ed it up to have us walk out of there. We went to Brattleboro the next day, where we were both treated with respect, and we bought a brand new Crosstrek XV (which I love by the way).
And he kept going on and on too on how they where the #1 Dealership in the country??? I have no idea how that is true. Maybe it’s because selling Subaru’s in Western Mass is like shooting fish in a barrel, in that case, sure, you probably sell a lot of cars. But seriously, I have never experienced, especially in this day in age, such misogynistic BS. It was so gross and uncomfortable. Go anywhere else instead.

I had Whitney as my saleswoman, she’s awesome. she’s knowable about the cars and trying to fit my need with my budget. we test drove a forester and I loved it. For being new at the job she is great, love her accent. I will be back soon to buy a car just have to find the right one that will fit my needs a tad more, but business will be done with her guaranteed.

I used to frequent the old Steve Lewis location before they moved. This was my first time getting service at the new location. Parking lot is kind of crazy. I parked and got out and a salesmen said I should move to another spot which were handicapped. I was like wtf? Got back in my car and moved. I arrived on time and checked in and was told about an hour. Seems a bit much, but that’s a usual «dealer» oil change wait. All I had done was a conventional oil change for $ 31.99. Found the waiting room and waited. Waiting room was nice with free wifi, free assorted K-​cup coffee and teas, comfortable furniture, tv, and magazines. After about an hour my car came out and I went up to the service desk to pay up. The less than enthusiastic service guy said its gonna be like $ 55. I was like ugh are you serious? I thought it was $ 31.99. They ended up putting synthetic oil in my car instead of the conventional I asked for. The service guy went into the back I guess to talk to the mechanic, and a service woman hearing everything intervened. She was much nicer than the other guy. I could have been a real dick. She asked if I wanted conventional put back in. I said no I’m not waiting another hour. So she gave me the conventional price for synthetic and some discount. I had my own oil filter, and the total price was $ 20. Overall, it was an ok experience. I know mistakes happen, but this was a first for me as far as oil changes go. It doesn’t matter if you switch oils, but it was just the point. I’d still go back for service. I think three stars is fair for my experience.
Returned for a second oil change that I scheduled online. This time I selected a synthetic oil change because after the first visit I decided to make the switch from conventional. I arrived and checked in and they had me down as a conventional oil change. I told them I selected synthetic online and they changed the work order. This is the second time it’s been wrong, so I’m thinking the online scheduling is messed up. Next time I’ll call.

My family and I have bought many cars from SLS going back to the years they were located on Damon Road. We have ALWAYS experienced top flight service, were given very fair values for our trades and left happy with the deals that we made. In my opinion they are far and away THE BEST Subaru dealer in the area. I wouldn’t hesitate in sending any friend here for sales or service.

My Review Of Steve Lewis Subaru:
Steve Lewis is a great dealership. It was our second Subaru purchase and first time dealing with Steve Lewis. They honored the sales quote (which we received online). A relaxed atmosphere (other dealerships put too much pressure on). A dealer which we would highly recommend and come back to.
Jesse was very informative, we were between an Outback and Forester. He took the time to take extended test drives, answered all of our questions and pointed out pros and cons of each car and which would work better for our needs. They didn’t have on the lot what were wanted regarding color/​options. But they found what we needed and added the additional options that were needed.
Jesse is an asset to the dealership, he made the whole transaction very easy and smooth.

I was in here yesterday getting a turn signal replaced, nothing was wrong with the vehicle other than that when i brought it in. When i left i suddenly had no tail lights functioning, when i brought it back they attested it to «broken wires» which were clearly snipped on purpose. They then informed me that it would need a new radiator as well, due to one of the connections being broken (something that can only happen by something knocking into the connection). i will NOT be going back there and wish i could take legal action against them for causing problems for themselves to then repair.

How often do you leave a car dealership having made an actual friend with whom you keep in touch after the sale of the car and plan dinners together? Because Jesse Bilodeau is a kind, down-​to-​earth, funny and respectful individual first, and efficient salesperson second, we were not only able to rest easy and trust the Forester sales transaction — knowing Jesse really did have our best and cost-​effective interest in mind — but we became friends to boot. It’s only reasonable that one of the best brands of automobile on the road — Subaru (I love Hondas, too, but after my fiancé bought a Forester, I’ve been converted!) — is paired with the kind of salesperson who makes buying such an awesome car exciting, easy, and a trustworthy process.

Todd Gerry, not much to say that others havent said, he is very kind and helpful. A regular and relatable guy that is there to help you find YOUR car. We worked with him for a few hours and finally decided on a nice preowned and that the financials will be completely taken care of by my gf’s father. So we needed to go back within a couple days to have her father either get a bank loan or Subaru matches bank loan rates. They asked for a deposit and i immediately offered to leave 25 $ to ensure that we come back. all seemed well until Todd came back with his sales manager, Mike Teixeira. Mike Teixeira was your classic slickback salesman that was pushy, rude, and extremely self absorbed or flat out arrogant. He recapped the last 3 hrs in 2 minutes, then told us that our $ 25 wasnt enough, he’ll take it, but he wont hold the car if someone walked in and wanted to buy it. he said he wanted 100 $. i reassured him that im leaving money because i intend to come back and buy the car. he REALLY REALLY wanted to make sure that i was going to buy it if he takes my measly $ 25. By the time that he realized i was serious, he had already belittled me, made multiple snide remarks insulting my intelligence, then as they were about to lose the sale, he gave me this robotic apology that didnt even contain the words «im sorry», it was, «i apologize if you felt like i disrespected you, i apologize that this sale has gotten off track» etc. then he went on to say that he’ll give me 24hrs to buy the car with my $ 25 down payment, or he’s selling it. At that point it was pointless to even leave money there if it means nothing to them. He finally said, «Fine, this meetings over, i wish you luck.» i said fine, if the car’s still around in a couple days, then maybe we’ll buy it from you because at that point, why do i even want to give them my business? Mike Teixeira walked away and left Todd standing there with a completely dumbfounded look on his face. He says what just happened?! I told him that his sales manager just lost him a sale and we’re leaving. Thankfully Todd was able to calm me down and assure me that i wont even have to see Mike’s face for the duration of the sale. That guy had infuriated me by his constant and total disrespect. Hes just a young man with no life experience and sitting on a horse sooo high that he needs an oxygen mask. Avoid Mike at all cost! Recap, Todd and the dealership is GREAT! Mike Teixeira-​Sales MANAGER? Your typical cocky, greased hair, diamond earings, kick-​back in his chair with Prada shoes on the table. In the car world, hes considered «A Closer» he comes in and finalizes the deals. He didnt want to finalize it, he wanted to argue semantics and play chicken as we butted heads about his total disrespect of my down payment. All around, an immature slickback. I recommend going here for your new or used subaru purchase, but dont let some young kid push you around and disrespect you. Work with Todd and request no Mike Teixeira contact.

Our Subaru is a great car, but I was not happy with the sleazy sales practices at Lewis Subaru. My advice: Do not buy the extended warranty despite the hard-​sell they give you, and once you have settled on a final price with the salesman, ask them «Apart from tax and license, is this the final price?» If they say yes, and the finance guy then includes the «non-​negotiable delivery charge», get up and leave. I’ve bought about four new cars and this was the most unpleasant, underhanded experience of the four. Pure bait & switch. I may buy another Subaru, but probably not here. Service, from my limited experience, is fine.

My rating is based on my experience with the service center. I started going here a year ago, and since it became a subaru/​volvo dealership the service has gone downhill. I feel like it is a higher-​level issue since all of the Volvo people who work there have remained the same.
I always make an appointment right at 8 am in hopes that it will speed up the wait time. I got a routine oil change 2 months ago and decided to wait since I brought work with me. After waiting 5.5 hoursI asked to be driven to work.
Today, I got there at 8:10 for an oil change and decided to take the shuttle to work. The shuttle did not pick me up until 9:00 am (the time I was supposed to be at work). I am moving in a few weeks so I am glad I do not have to deal with their service anymore.
As for my car all of the work they have done on it has been great. The service is such a pain… that is is almost not worth it.
