(3÷29÷2014) I had a great time supporting our local (from Baltimore City) men’s roller derby team. Beer was from Antietam and pretty cheap ($ 4), did not partake of the snack bar. Place looks frozen in time, just like the rink I used to skate at back in the day: black lights and neon patterned carpet, wooden cubbies for the rental skates, orange and yellow formica tables at the party area.
Be forewarned, they do host women’s and men’s competition roller derby bouts on a schedule (make sure you check it), so some nights are not available for the general public. Saw at least 2 parties of kids get turned away and disappointed (but they can go bowling just next door).
