I came in for an interior detailing after reading the rave reviews on Unilocal.Much like everyone else’s experience, mine was completely positive. Bob is a very nice guy with a high sense of integrity, and it shows in the way he interacts with his customers. I will be back when it’s time to sell my car. We discussed the consignment policy while I was there, and it seems quite reasonable. I’d passed BK motors many times on Highway One. I’m so glad I went in and I’ll be back.

We were so lucky to find B K Motors and to meet Bob. We were looking for a specific car (Mercedes) and he had it. he was wonderful to work with, no hassle, enjoyable… the car is perfect, it was clean, detailed and absolutely as he represented it.
The next day we had our SUV detailed there and it just sparkles. Thanks to Bob and his crew… I can recommend BK Motors without reservation and we plan on returning next time we have a car to buy or sell.

Ran into Bob and he told me about his detail service. Have a 2004 Porsche and keep it detailed and very clean. Thought I was getting nice detail work until his guys did the most amazing job yet. For sure never going anywhere else but BK’s for Detail service. They know what they are doing and very professional with all the extra little touches.

I purchased a Mazda Miata from Bob just a few weeks ago. It was, by far, my best experience in purchasing an auto. Most sales guys are smarmy and pressure you to buy; not Bob. He was honest, polite, quick and friendly. The whole transaction took almost no time at all and the car is AWESOME!

I have just had a wonderful experience having Bob at BK Motors sell my car. This is the first time that I have had anyone sell my used vehicles. Bob is very personable and very FAIR. He gave my wife and me more than we could have haggled from a prospective buyer.

I stopped in to see if I could get a quick car detail. I met the owner and he was a really nice and approachable guy.
I stopped 8n late in the day and although he could not fit me in as a walk in I will be back. The place is clean and organized… yhe bonus is a few of the vintage cars he has for sale on consignment that are fun to look at.
A place that makes you want to come back after leaving is a place worth patronizing in the future.

I have to say Bob is by far the only person i trust when purchasing a car. Over the past 5 years my mom and i have purchased a total of 4 cars from BK Motors.
Two mini coopers, BMW and recently a Honda CRV. All the cars have been amazing. The customer service that Bob gives is above and beyond the call of duty but he is HONEST and upfront with any question, concern and the purchasing process is a breeze. Being a local for decades i will never go any were else for a car!

Over the past decade or so we’ve bought 3 cars and sold one through BK Motors. Bob has consistently dealt with us fairly.
The car we purchased most recently did have a number of problems which surfaced in the month after we bought it. The repairs came to about 20% of the price we paid for the car. We told Bob about the problems we experienced, and he proposed a very fair settlement where he paid a substantial portion of our repair expenses. He was under no obligation to do this, and we certainly appreciated his desire to make our transaction a positive one.

Great process in selling our pre-​owned GMC Envoy. Took only 5 minutes to set things up with BK Motors and agree on sale price and to complete all paperwork. BK manages DMV transfer etc. They also got the vehicle ready for sale with a complete detail. Bob is a great person to work with and knows the car market very well

My wife and I brought our cars here for detailing and couldn’t be happier with the results. Hoping to make this an annual tradition. Thanks, Bob & team!

If your looking for a car, go to this place. I have been through traumatizing experiences with Honda, Infiniti dealers. I got stuck in horrible circumstances, and had no way out. I waited a while and found this place. I picked the car, named my price i wanted to pay per month, down payment, he made a few phone calls and Bob made it happen :) I couldn’t be happier. A plus is that he only works with San Mateo Credit Union, which is great, b. c they are present to do business with.

Bob is a super nice guy, honest, straightforward and trustworthy. We recently bought a used BMW from him and the whole deal was pleasant and painless, just how buying a car should be! I would recommend buying from him in a heartbeat. We love his kitty as well!

I’ve been taking my vehicles to BK Motors for about a year now. My brother bought a car from him years back and he was happy with the experience. I got my parents 93′ Volvo 960 detailed there as a mother’s day present. It came back looking like it had just rolled off the showroom floor. I did it while they were out of town and had difficulty working out the transportation after I dropped off the car and picking it up at the end of the day. Bob gave me a ride in the BK car both times.
I get my car cleaned there every so often. The $ 30 hand wash. I drive 100 miles a day for work and my car gets dirty pretty fast. After taking my Christmas tree to the dumps there were pine needles all over the interior. After they cleaned it, my car was perfect. Inside and out!
Bob is a pleasant, honest, upfront person. He’s also very intelligent. I’ve sold vehicles off Craig’s List. For every legit email I got, I recieved 10 from people trying to con me. When it comes time to sell my Masarati I’m going to have BK Motors do it for me. Zero stress, zero wasted time. It’s totally worth it.

While chaperoning a field trip, I had a 9 year old get car sick all over the interior of my 4 year old Subaru, even on the console, radio, steering wheel… I know, gross… — I had seen BK Motors signs and called to see about making an appointment. Bob returned my call immediately and was able to take my car in the same day. He explained the options for detailing and I decided to have the exterior done as well — what a great decision — the car looks absolutely new! The exterior is so smooth you slip if you try to lean on the hood! His detailer got every scratch out — I never imagined it could look that good Even the engine is now spotless!
More importantly, the interior smells remarkably brand-​new and there is not a trace of anything left behind. He took out the console to clean every part of it, and I can’t believe how he got it so clean and odor-​free. The leather chairs are back to being soft and supple like when I bought it.
The price was very fair and so worth it — I’ll be coming back to do business with Bob again at least once a year, or possibly after the next field trip ;-) So worth the money!

A trusted source recommended Bob to me and I had mixed feelings about our interaction. On the plus side I think he is a nice guy and gave me a solid number when discussing what he’d pay for my car.
On the minus side he gave me a lowball, wholesale figure which I was not interested in at all. Granted, that is the name of the consignment game, right? He’s buying at wholesale and selling at retail. But what really made a lasting impression on me were the things he said during our discussion about selling the car. He was very fear-​based, almost as if he thought he could scare me into selling my car to him. He said, «Well you just keep plugging along then. You know the value will just keep dropping. Be careful you aren’t trying to sell this car next year…» as if I were trying to sell a 1973 Pinto.
I wasn’t. I was selling (and have since sold!) a 2008 Infinity G35S with 3 out of 4 premium packages on it! This car was loaded with features and was in exceptional condition because I loooooooved the car and took good care of it.
Luckily for me, I am not fear-​based; I am strategic. And I talked to different people in my own network who I thought would be interested in a gently used high-​performance sedan. Good thing too as I now have $ 3000 more than I would have if I consigned the car with Bob.
That said, there is a time and place for consignment. If you just want to sell your car, and price isn’t really that important but convenience is, Bob was the nicest guy I met out of all of the consignment shops I visited. Selling a car is not for the faint of heart and you have to stick with it to close that sale. I personally like a challenge and to keep more money in my pocket when I am selling a gorgeous, well-​maintained vehicle. Most importantly, I know what’s what and there is no reason to give away a very valuable car (despite what someone might say to the contrary!) when you can just put in a little more effort and reap the rewards yourself.

We met Bob yesterday when we came in to check out the cars and also look into selling one of ours — B.K. is a consignment dealer. Bob is super friendly and great to talk to. He obviously knows his stuff and has a very comprehensive set of guidelines for anyone considering selling their car through his business. His prices seem more than reasonable and he also takes steps to ensure all cars sold on his lot are checked out ahead of time in order to protect everyone involved. It’s a great system and I think we’ll be signing up once we get our car serviced (anyone in the market for an ’06 Mustang??)…Plus, an added advantage for anyone selling a car is exposure. Bob’s lot is right next to the busy intersection of Rtes. 1 & 92, so there is a TON of traffic throughout the day. Your vehicle is bound to get noticed fast.
My favorite thing about our visit though was the resident KITTIES!!! Lambchop and Missy live on the premises and are super sweet & adorable. Even if we decide not to sell the Stang, I’m pretty sure I’ll be a frequent visitor anyway so I can see the small fuzzies!
