Cal Jumps

I don’t usually do this but I had the worse expirience with this company.
I called them because of all the good reviews I saw on here but my expirience was not good. I called them on a Tuesday to see if I could reserve a jumper for my daughter’s party. I told them all the info INCLUDING the DATE and all the other info. He asked me to fill out an online order form. Ok so I did. Next I called their office on Thursday because I got an email saying the price would be for $ 120 be they would have to add the city as an insurer. So I called them to clear things up and tell them that all the city needed was for them to fax the certificate over to them. Done all was good I got that done and basically everything was confirmed
Instead if calling me on Friday… mind you my party was on that Saturday coming up… I get an email that very rudely said «I don’t have any availability for tomorrow. On the reservation from you didn’t list a date for when you wanted the bounce house. Can’t do anything for tomorrow.» I didn’t get this email until later in the day so I’m thinking all is well and I’m set for tomorrow. So I called them and I told the guy the problem I was having because first when I called the office the lady that «helped» me was rude and sounded annoyed. Listen, if you don’t have the patience when dealing with customers don’t be in customer service! Anyway, so I’m telling him that everything was set and that both he and the girl on different dates told me yes they could and they both knew the date! The guy claimed they knew nothing and that verbal agreements or words didn’t count! I was so so so upset because last minute they cancelled and we’re so rude on the phone. They didn’t care AT ALL that they could have ruined my daughter’s party! So I spent the next hour or 2 looking for a new place and the only place that came through with no problem and we’re really nice was NORMAL JUMP! They were amazing!
I could be wrong but I felt that they cancelled because they couldn’t find a way to charge me over $ 100 because I had my own ge, eraser and didn’t need to rent from them. I would have ended up paying only $ 85 or so dollars and the didn’t want to come out for that low money. They were Hella rude! I will never call them or recommend them to any friends and family. They don’t get no stars from me!

With short notice was able to procure a velcro wall. It was awesome. 294.00 for six hours including generator and delivery. Quick set up and quick clean up. My suggestion is to call, email and pay prior versus cash day of. Will definitely keep in my Rolodex of party planning/​activity option!

Good company. Good people. Good customer service. Makes for a very fun birthday party.

Fantastic experience. Booked about 2 weeks ago. They emailed and called to check in. Even offered to cancel day of as it was raining. We decided not to cancel as the rain was only going to last a couple of hours and the guy set up in the pouring rain without complaint. Arrived on time for set up and take down. Superior service.

I reserved a carousel bounce house for my son’s 3 years birthday party from «Cal Jump» (at least a month prior to the birthday party). I received a confirmation email TWO days before the birthday party. A day before the party, they informed me that they took the carousel jumper to a pumpkin patch which they host every year! HUGE disappointment. They FAILED to reserved the carousel bounce house along with the POOR customer service.
Thankfully I was able to get a bounce house with a short slide from «630 Jump». They are reliable and professional. They delivered the bounce house the next day to the birthday party.

Herman and his guys are TOP TOP NOTCH!!! When i need a blow up, he is there and really appreciates repeat business. I’ve been with him since he first started and I will tell you, he has ALWAYS been able to provide dependable, professional and reliable service. I am so happy to have him on my speed dial. When my kid wants a character — he makes it happen. Great service and great prices!!! He’ll come out and make sure the jumper fits your yard and even will make changes so you’ll get what your party deserves. I can’t say enough about Cal jumpers. I won’t go anywhere else!

Here’s our experience — Jennifer told us that they don’t actually have all the items on their website. They instead order from a different company once a customer wants a bounce house. Basically, they are ‘middle men’ and are at the whim of a blameless, nameless company. We ordered a bounce house rental on January 12^th and were told that it was available for our party on March 1^st. Over a month later, on February 20^th, with a week to go before the party, we are told that the company they contract with will not be sending them the jumper in time. In other words, it isn’t «their fault» or «anyone’s fault»…even though they made no mention of being simply ‘middle men’ when they took our order. Bottom line… it was unprofessional and anyone considering a rental should know that they could have the same experience us and order one thing, but not actually get what they ordered and be left high and dry at their party. Good news… a competitor had the one we wanted and saved the day.

Good value and on time delivery/​setup and pickup. Most importantly the bounce house was CLEAN!

Ordered one with a slide (without having to spend too much) for my 2 year old daughter’s birthday who is usually a bit intimidated by the older kids that jump in these bounce houses but she loved it and so did my 72 year old mom (and everyone in between those ages. We always have fun with bounce houses but the slide kicks the fun meter up a couple of notches. They delivered on time and picked up on time too. Will definitely order from CalJumps again!

Super service! Nedded a jumper the very next day and none of the companies could provide a princess jumper for my daughter’s birthday party, none of them had a permit filed with the Washington Park in Burlingame :(but Cal Jumps did. They were able to book me for next morning for the princess jumper and texted me my confirmation. Delivery and pick up times were flexible, both were done on time and fast. Delivery gentleman went an extra mile and cleaned the jumper thoroghly, just because it had couple of fog sprinkles on it. Very satisfied customer, thank you guys!

we booked this company because we got a great deal on the jumper and dunk tank package. We ended up just getting the jumper. Communication was great with the guy German. He was fast at responses and getting back to us, if he couldn’t he had the girl in the office do it.
I would have given them a 5 star, but the girl in the office called us in the middle of our party and asked if one of my party guest could go get a gallon of gas to put in the generator because it was getting low on gas. It upset me a bit, because it was unprofessional for her to even ask us to do it, especially since I paid them for the service, they should have made sure it was adequately filled. She said she would contact owner to have him send someone to take care of it, but no one came until it was time to pick it up at 7p. So for the last hour of the party we didn’t let kids into the jumper in case it started to deflate.
I would probaly call other places before I use them again.

The conversation went like this:
Husband: What do you want for your birthday?
Me: A bouncy castle party.
Husband: Ha ha, very funny. What do you REALLY want?
Me: Did I fucking stutter? I want a goddamn BOUNCY CASTLE.
I turned a «significant age» last weekend (I’m telling people I’m 27 again…). So I decided that it would be fun to tempt fate and gather a bunch of drunks to flail around and act like idiots in a bouncy castle. My husband called around and booked one with Bay Area Jump well in advance. But, the day before, he didn’t get a confirmation call from them as promised so he followed up and was given the «Uhhh, yeah, uh, it’s gonna rain, so I guess we can’t deliver the bouncy castle after all.» Despite my husband saying the weather was irrelevant because we had an indoor place to put the castle (seriously), they wouldn’t honor the reservation. This was like 9:30pm the night before the party. Douchey!!! I was pretty nervous because we’d invited a shitload of people (many from out of town) and had been crowing about the bouncy castle to anyone within earshot for about a month. If people showed up and there was no bouncy castle, we’d feel like idiots. I mean, more idiotic than a couple 30-​somethings who ordered a bouncy castle. So I looked on Unilocal and came across these guys… who just so happened to be located down the road from us. My husband called them the morning of the party and they were able to help us out. For less money than the other guys, even. What a relief!
They delivered and set up the castle on time, it was in great (and clean!) shape and worked perfectly, and they returned as promised the next day to take it all down. I highly recommend them if you’re in the market for a bouncy castle!
Oh and in case you were wondering, nobody broke a hip or puked in it. WIN!

I ordered a castle from Cal Jumps for my daughters second birthday. I was a little worried because their prices seemed to be lower than the rest. I ended up getting an e mail back right away after I placed my order. They showed up maybe 30 minutes early to set up the bounce house, but we didn’t mind. It was clean, all the safety nets looked good and it was in great condition. They were so easy to deal with, and when they came to take the bounce house away… everything was done in less than 10 minutes! Thank you for being the easiest part of planning my daughters birthday party. I will be ordering from you and telling my friends about your great service for a long long time.

We have used caljumps on several occasions for parties both planned and last minute and they are extremely responsive, very professional and reasonably priced. The jumpers are clean and in great condition. They are usually early (fine with us) and will leave the jumper overnight for free if you reserve it past 8 pm. Highly recommended!

I usually hate having to get a quote or reserve online, but their website said it would be the quickest, so I did. They responded quickly by email within minutes and there were no problems with reserving and they confirmed right away.
Day of– The space where the bounce house was going to be set up was still occupied when they arrived (half an hour early), so they were fine with coming back later.
Pick up was timely and quick.
FYI: They charge extra to come out to SF. ($ 16)
You pay by business check or cash when they set up the bounce house.

What a lifesaver! I had rented a jumper from another company for my daughters birthday and the same morning of the party had problems with that company. I called cal jumps at the last minute, literally 1 ½ hours before the party, they delivered a jumper no problem. I would highly recommend this company. The rates are very good and their jumpers are nice and clean. Because the other company screwed up, I found cal jumps and i will continue to use them for the years to come. What an“A“class company! THANKS CAL JUMPS!

Someone needs better customer service skills I have ordered jumpers before from this place beause they are cheap but today I called to order 18 chairs and 5 tables. The guy that answered said he doesn’t have time to deliver just tables and chairs to my house I’m in daly city and he is in half moon bay said unless I want a jumper I need to call someone else… Horrible customer service
