Ok, I have lived nearby for years but had never gone to Camerons’ Happy that there was no wait on a Saturday night and we were able to find a spot that was relatively quiet despite the pub atmosphere. Had an excellent server who was attentive and engaged with all of us(and pleasantly answered my questions about the menu(as I am vegetarian). I had pretty simple food(baked potato with mushrooms and cheese along with a side salad), but enjoyed it and will definitely go back!

I went on a ride to the coast, and was told to visit this Pub, being part Irish I was intrigued, even though this is an English bar I had to try it. I only ordered a Guinness but the folks next to me had burgers and fries and they looked yumishious!(I over heard their appreciation for each bite) …lol. Enjoy

My review is not only for the delicious food but the amazing customer service. I live an hour away and didn’t notice that I left my purse hanging on my chair at the restaurant. I didn’t feel like driving another 2 hours round trip that day so u drove back the next morning. The staff was friendly and honest. Thank you so much for restoring my faith in humans again.

Great place to go if you like«shiny things» So much stuff on their walls, I don’t think you could see it all. Took our LL baseball team here after a game. A couple hours passed, and we found them up on stage singing karaōke«take me out to the ball game» At that time we asked ourselves, should we really have 10 year olds at a pud singing karaōke? Fish and chips were ok, and so was the beer. They had a fire pit and smoking bus that I need to check out next visit.

Well… true to British tradition, the food is bland(at least the fish and chips are, though the fries were good). Had a glass of Fuller’s. Good service, nice to sit outside on a sunny day.

Love this place. Starting with the neat décor inside and out, the friendly, funny staff, English style tasty food. I had the fish and chips– awesome. Would defiantly recommend and will go back if ever in the area

Had the presence of mind to eat somewhere before dropping in for a drink. Asked the bartender(in this British pub) for an English bitters and got a blank stare. OK, Stella Artois it is. Ironically, they have Guinness(think about that for a minute). Went into the back room where the music was being played and it smelled of cat piss. We left as soon as our glasses were empty.

We sat at a table for over thirty minutes and no one bussed the table, offered us menus, or asked if we wanted a drink. The other tables around us were waited on, but we seemed to be invisible. I’m surprised a business would be OK with us taking up a table and not want us to spend any money. I would strongly recommend NOT going here.

The food is mediocre and the place is always kinda dirty… but somehow it doesn’t even matter. There’s just something about Cameron’s that keeps me coming back. I love the weird British vibe, the usually abandoned back yard, and of course the smoking bus. You also get a big yard glass of beer on your birthday! Tip — bring your own cigars.

Not impressed one bit with the food. Service was decent but I got ripped off on the so called Cameron’s famous burger. The burger was way over cooked. Not to mention I got a half a hand full of fries. And the prices… Unbelievable. The one star is for the service I got. That’s it.

I’ll start by saying that I had previously had some relatively good experiences with Cameron’s in the past, but this last time I went will undoubtedly be the last. My sister was visiting and I thought Cameron’s would be a cool niche little place to take her and enjoy a beer and some food together. We arrive around 7pm and take a seat at a table in the bar section, — I’ll interject here to say that I have done this a few times before and have had no issues being waited on a couple of minutes after arriving — about 15 – 20 minutes go by and my sister and I start to question whether the servers realize we are new customers waiting to be served. The group of waitresses that night(who by the way all looked like they were either high school or fresh out of high school students) were in plain sight of our table as they kept going back to the register repeatedly. I try to be optimistic and say we wait for a couple more minutes. 5 minutes after that, I get up and go to the register where there are a group of THREE waitresses to politely let them know that we are seated and ready to be served as we have been waiting close to half an hour now. I kid you not, they all look at me blankly and after an awkward silence one say, «Ummm, okay. Yeah, sorry about that.» I head back to the table thinking one of the three will come over right away and we end up waiting another 15 minutes before I finally give up and tell my sister we will find another place to eat. Long story short, we sat there for almost an hour without even so much as an acknowledgment from a single employee. I used to always recommend this place to people when coming to half moon bay but NEVERAGAIN!

Def go and have a pint and enjoy the pub like feel, even though it’s not really pub like, but don’t go for the food. Not good. Actually, there are many other places that won’t sell you a stale draught. So if you want a nice pint, try HMB Brewing who has lovely pints. So scratch what I wrote earlier. :-) Service? Not good. Cleanliness, Not good. They have a very curious pronunciation of pastie… And no, not the typical screw up that most people make. And don’t ask for a half pint.

Very disappointing after almost 50 minutes our food never came in. 2 tables that came after us were eating and we were still waiting. So we got up, let them know we were leaving and all they said was cancel order 60 there’re walking out. Really Where’s your pride. That’s so sad. If I could rate this place a zero I would.

I love the feel of Cameron’s which is why I keep coming back. Easy plentiful parking and a plus is that the ocean is only 15 minutes down the road. The food is tasty and filing. It isn’t five star, but for pub food it hits the spot. My favorite dish is the curried chicken pastie. My fiancé appreciates the large beer selection, the local pumpkin cider is my favorite.

Very dog friendly!!! Came here w my dog after we hung out at the beach. They have a section in the front near the big pumpkin statue with outdoor seating which is wry dog friendly. There are dog bowls and a water fountain available for dogs however no dog menu. I didn’t want to be there too long because I had somewhere else to go later in the day. I had a jack and coke go drink which was really good and a chicken tender and fries plate with buffalo sauce on the side. The chicken and fries were absolutely delicious and flavorful. The waitress was okay she was friendly to my dog but she barely paid attention to me probably because it was just me but I definitely felt a little awkward and would have ordered a dessert and more drinks otherwise. Definitely would recommend as long as it is a different waitress.

A little pricey for the quality of food however it wasn’t bad by any means. Definitely returning for the fish and chips. The store is a little over priced also as British food stores go but still a great selection. The place is very interesting and you should take the time to really look around and check out the busses. Good little stage and fun events nightly. The staff are fantastic! Ask for Joyce!

Last night I went to this place to celebrate my friends 23rd birthday and he wanted to go bar hopping for thee night. The first bar that we landed to was Cameron’s Restaurant. This place is pretty cool! i love the décor around the place, they have arcades, a Foosball table, a shuffle board table, and they do trivia nights here with this device that takes in your answer. Outside, they have 3 hammocks which would be perfect just to lay on and relax and a smoking section of the restaurant which is located on the double decker bus. The only issue I had with this restaurant is that there isn’t that many of a choices in beer but they did have Sierra Nevada’s Hop Hunter IPA on tap which was pretty awesome so I’ll give them that. Haven’t tried their food yet but was very tempted to order food(I would’ve if I haven’t eaten earlier) Overall this place is pretty cool and a chill spot to be in. I would definitely come back here again if I’m at Half Moon Bay

I took the fiancé and her no good doggy to Half Moon Bay this past Sunday so she could see first hand how awesome CA is consort to NY: p anyways we took the walk but no good doggy gassed out and neither one of us wanted to carry the pooch any further. So we hailed the Über dude and then on the way back, I saw Cameron’s and decided we should stop by for a quick looksee. So what a trip. I really didn’t expect such a place to exist in HMB. How else do you describe this place other than truly f’g unique. I’d say if you were a Brit, you’d probably exclaim«bloody ‘ell, mate» and swing a hard right into the parking lot. So the exterior is just hard to miss: a double decker bus, massive pumpkin, and looks like a British pub. On the very dimly lit inside, there’s a lot of unique stuff on the wall. Too much to describe. And the place is also a campground. What a great idea! Camp and then get lit at the pub after a good day at the beach! But we stayed mainly because it was unique and they had an outdoor seating area for dogs. We shared a black n tan because we weren’t feeling adventurous and a shepherds pie. Food was alright nothing spectacular but good for us because quite frankly, we don’t know what a good shepherds pie tastes like! Waiter was super cool and informative as well. This place would be cool to hang out with a bunch of friends.

Food: 4 Service: 5 Cleanliness: ? Atmosphere: 5 Being with someone that can distract me from a cleanliness rating is really something. I’m all about the details, particularly when it comes to how clean or dirty a place is, their waitstaff and even their cutlery. After two attempts to try Clam Chowder for the first time and grab some dinner, we finally found ourselves at our third stop, Cameron’s, which happened to serve food until 10pm. Katie, our waitress, was a gem. She was so sweet and made sure to get our food order in even though it was 9:59pm and the kitchen is particular about shutting it down right on time at 10pm. The first time I’ve ever had Clam Chowder and it was delicious. It was chunky and had a kick to it… not spicy, just seasoned enough. We also ordered Fish & Chips x2, we could have gotten by with one order– the filets were huge and plentiful per person– but he didn’t want me to go hungry, so we had plenty. I loved this place – when I actually took a look around paying attention to the space. It’s another British dive bar that has got plenty to keep your eyes and mind busy, walls adorned with posters, signs and flare. Being distracted by your company or décor– I’m pretty sure, like me, if you make it there, you’ll be wanting more.

I wish it could have been better. #1 service is very very slow. #2 the place is so so dirty. Last time I was here they had a cat running around . #3 the food is so over cooked. #4 the bar is cool nice beer selection #5 highlight is the old pub feel. Conclusion: I won’t be back for the food but maybe for a beer
