Shanti was the photographer of our dreams for our engagement pictures and our wedding! For our engagement pictures, I sent her a few ideas, but she really brought it to life and we couldn’t have loved them more! She is SO on top of everything and made us feel SO comfortable throughout the 2 hour session. For our wedding, at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, we couldn’t have asked for a more professional, AMAZING photographer! Shanti and her team were top notch and I can’t say enough about her! They came to where we were getting ready, were SO on point with the timeline and all the little details and followed my now husband and I around like a hawk! We had talked about various group pictures and different locations at the vineyards and she made sure that EVERYTHING was captured!
I cannot recommend Shanti and her team enough! We cannot wait to see all of our wedding day photos and to use her for other photos down the road! You’re the BEST Shanti!

Shanti is an amazing photographer with a passion that comes through in all of her photos. Within just minutes of meeting Shanti, her talent and personality won us over. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Shanti take our engagement & wedding photos and we could not be happier with how everything turned out.
Shanti was extremely efficient and professional, every step of the way. On our wedding day Shanti dualed as a wedding planner, helping us stay on schedule and adjusting as needed to make sure things ran smoothly. Everyone in our wedding party absolutely loved Shanti and her assistant Shannon, and they even had tricks to make my 2 year old niece smile! Without being asked, Shanti and Shannon stayed about two hours longer than we planned, because the reception was still going strong and everyone was having so much fun!

I cannot rave enough on how amazing Shanti is! I would give her 10 stars if I could! Shanti did our engagement photos and our wedding. She is so easy to work with and extremely flexible and responsive. I knew I was in good hands with her and did not have to stress at all about her getting the job done.
She has a great eye for capturing the most beautiful photos. Shanti and her assistant were so amazing at blending into the background and capturing the moment. Half of the time I didn’t even realize our photo was being taken. Her turnaround time for our engagement photos and wedding photos were only one week! So fast!
I really couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Shanti. We have the most amazing memories captured from our wedding day and I’m so glad she was a part of our journey.

I contacted Shanti at the last minute to see if she would come and take pictures of my surprise engagement to my girlfriend at The Ritz Half Moon Bay. She was extremely kind and worked with me on all of the details regarding the engagement. When the day finally came, my flight from southern California was delayed which in turn made my arrival at The Ritz of 3pm turn into more like 4pm. When I showed up at the location of the engagement it was very windy and cold but sure enough Shanti was hiding by some bushes to capture our special moment. Not many photographers would put up with our delay let alone stand in the cold and windy outdoors while waiting. The pictures turned out amazing! I could be more impressed with Shanti’s professionalism and attention to detail and will recommend her to everyone I know that needs a GREAT photographer! THANK YOU Shanti!!!

I am starting a business and needed some photos of myself for the website. After looking around photos on my computer I realized I needed to see a professional to get some headshots. Facebook friends had posted Shanti’s work and it looked really good so I decided to give her a call.
Shanti is very efficient with her time. She spent about 15 minutes taking photos in various poses. Modeling is not my strong suit and Shanti was good at directing me, and helping me relax. I tend to feel self conscious when getting my photo taken. She even offered to drop off the photos at my office when she was finished with the editing.
The photos are wonderful. I have a CD of about 20 different photos to choose from. Shanti dropped them off at my office in a few days. She is a consummate professional, photographer. My photos came out great, and cost less than I expected to pay for working with a pro. If you need professional photos, she is the one for you.

I worked with Shanti to shoot some professional photos for my website when I was first starting my therapy practice. I had never taken professional photos before, and I was a little nervous, but Shanti quickly put me at ease. She is not only warm and approachable, but she has a fantastic eye for light and positioning. She provided suggestions and gentle directions that helped to create a number of fantastic images that were professional, but still… me. It’s been over a year since my husband and I got married, but we couldn’t be more pleased with Shanti. We’re so glad we went with her. She has a wonderful presence, a great eye for what makes a beautiful picture; in short, she is perfect. We loved working with her on our engagement and wedding photos. She listens to what you want, too, which is nice. Also, she doesn’t have a giant ego like another photographer we initially talked to. Also, she is reasonably priced given the level of skill she brings. The package we chose included a matted print of our choice, which was also a nice choice, She also gives you the negatives of the images; she doesn’t claim artistic ownership the way some folks do. Shanti is a bag of chips, and then some! Please book her; you won’t be sorry. I plan to hit her up to photograph my family when we have wee little ones. Also, I’m hoping some of my friends get married soon so I can hopefully hang with Shanti again!

Shanti is amazing. Her assistant, Shannon, is also amazing.
I got married during Labor Day weekend this year, and though the weather was not ideal (super foggy with no visibility), Shanti and Shannon managed to get awesome shots. Everyone raved that they were joys to work with, and I’m totally stoked with our wedding photos.
During preparation, Shanti was helpful, patient, and very competent. On the day of, they were very subtle and not in anyone’s face. Shanti’s style is very intimate, romantic, and equal parts traditional/​romantic and fun/​candid.
She also did our engagement photos, which turned out beautiful.

I can’t express enough how wonderful it was to work with Shanti for our wedding. She’s an excellent, creative photographer who brought out the best in everyone, even the least photogenic of us. She’s also very responsive over email and quick to deliver our photos after our wedding.

Shanti was everything we were looking for and more. The instant we met her, we knew she was the one. She was professional, artistic, yet affordable. I had looked at over five photographers in the San Francisco Bay Area and Shanti was my last and best. The rest I had considered were expensive, boring, and their photos seemed «staged». I was lucky enough to work with Shanti for my wedding, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone whose looking for a professional, creative, and friendly photographer. Shanti had her work cut out for her: generally speaking, we are awkward in front of a camera. I am the master of stupid photo faces and my fellah is the king of closing his eyes just when the flash goes off. we are not exactly what you would call photogenic. But Shanti somehow captured all the moments that mattered, and we even look good in the photos! I would absolutely book Shanti again, she was a real joy to work with.
