The food was great but the service and ambience leave a lot to be desired. My 80-​year old mother-​in-​law and I arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night with no reservations. There were many open tables but we were told they were reserved. Only when the manager recognized my MIL did we get seated — outside, at a high top (difficult for an 80-​yo) underneath a blaring speaker. The reserved tables on the patio never got filled the hour that we were there. Really don’t appreciate being treated like second class citizens due to age and gender. Service at the table was friendly but not overwhelmingly courteous or quick. It felt like they were doing us a favor by feeding us.

So happy to have found a middle eastern restaurant with authentic middle eastern food. Thank you Mijana. The kibbeh nayeh was awesome and a very nice sized portion. The kibbeh cooked in yogurt was ok, the yogurt sauce very good. Please have shish barak on your menu. The spread served with the warm pita bread was also very tasty, a za’tar paste. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the hostess wasn’t very helpful. When we asked if there was a table available outside for 2, she looked and just said no, rather than saying no, but we will probably have one available in x amount of time. I’m glad that when we were walking out a high top table by the bar was becoming available and we were able to sit there. Our server, Stephanie, was very nice. Our lychee martinis were excellent.

Firstly, I’d like to say that this low rating is because of the food! The service was wonderful as was the belly dancer. However, the food is below mediocre… This is not an authentic Lebanese Restaurant. The food was extremely bland and very pricey! Love the atmosphere and the staff but we will not be back unfortunately.

50+ tables open but 45 min wait and reservation only. Really? If you can’t handle people wanting to eat in your restaurant why are you open?

First thing they say to you no matter what day of the week or time is: «$ 15 minimum for person». Terrible service and if you’re looking for Middle Eastern food look no further than Etzel Itzik located between West Dixie Highway between Ives Dairy and Miami Gardens Drive.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. For the amount of money we paid for our meal it wasn’t worth it. I can find other places to spend my $ 80 for my wife and I in this area. My wife was disappointed with the Shish Tawook as it was cut chicken Breast with spices, a serving of white sticky rice and vegetables, which included 5 small carrots, 2 broccoli florets and 1 cauliflower floret. One highlight was the fresh hot pita that was served with a black olive dip.

Very good Kibenah aya! Babagunsh is amazing. The service is very good and price excellent. Totally coming back :-))

Great place for Mediterranean food. We had falafel, chicken livers, moussaka, lamb stew and vegetarian platter, all delicious. Excellent service, very varied menu and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Was very happy to try this place. Our experience with Lebanese is limited but we do enjoy Kabobji. We figured that since this was a big place with an amazing outdoor sweeting and that they can function at Gulfstream that it would be at least good if not great.
1. The server and the service was amazing.
2. The break was fresh and warm and really good.
That’s where it stops.
The food was so tasteless. Bland. Dry. They were out of sea bass. They were out of the desert I asked for. (flan type desert) forgot name.
The tahini comes in a mini container that has to be refilled ten times.
The chicken super dry and tasteless. The meat super dry and tasteless.
Rice was normal. Ok
Vegetables were clearly pre frozen or just old and sitting out forever.
Would never come back here.

This restaurant has decent food and satisfactory service. The dining room was empty on a Saturday night although they did have a few customers sitting in the outside dining area. The way to go here is the $ 28 family style dinner. They give you a salad, several appetizers and 4 mixed grill entrees. It really is made for a party of 4 and thus, if you have more than 4 people in your party, I suggest asking the waiter if this option is still available. The appetizers were average and I didn’t even try the salad. The mixed grill is a chicken, lamb and beef kabob (1 for each person) and a plate of rice and vegetables. The chicken and rice were the best parts of the meal. The lamb was ok and I took one bite of the beef and didn’t eat the rest of it. The vegetables, broccoli and carrots, were average.
The other slightly annoying aspect of this restaurant is that they charge a $ 20 cover after 9pm. One of our party members asked even if we are still eating dinner at that time, will we be charged? The answer was «Yes.» What a drag! Unless you want to pay $ 20 for some belly dancing, I suggest leaving before 9pm.

Excellent food and drinks. I liked that they had a couple options for my children. Chicken and a ground meat choice. The meat was possibly mixed with lamb. So kids might not like it just a heads up.

The drinks did come one at a time which shouldn’t be like that. Otherwise service was good.

Amazing Lebanese restaurant. Had a great time having dinner with my toddler: super accommodating to kids, lots of attention and the food was excellent. I had a bunch of appetizers and they were all delicious. I would reccomended the Yogurt salad, the babbaganoush, the seasoned fries which are so yummy all dressed up in Zatar. Around 10:30 on the weekends they also have live belly dancing to go along with your choice of hookah flavor. I will definitely come back here on my next visit to Miami

What a Great Concept for a Lebanese. Overall the Hookah was a 3 and the music was a 2 just because there was a little light that was shinning inside of my eye.
I really enjoyed the grilled chicken, because it made me happy to eat all those tasty seasonings.
I had made a reservation, but the lady in the front had spelled my name wrong. What a disaster! I would have that a 1.
The cleanliness was a surprising 4, there was enough light in the bathroom I could actually wash my hands!!!

I would recommend this place to a friend if they like a hard o find place that is casual and not too expensive.

The service is attentive and friendly. the humus, falafel appetizers are delicious. The kofte special entrée is very well marinated and the fries are good. The kibe platter is a beautiful presentation, abundant and very tasty. The shawarma special entrée is also served with rice and vegetables and the meat is flavorful. Fresh lemonade with mint is homemade and refreshing. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit and the best Lebanese restaurant in Aventura.

Good place, especially the location. However the manager or whoever it was, was very rude. Food was just ok, I ate better in more authentic Mediterranean Places.
They just need to work on their attitudes, and be more polite.
Overall they deserve 3 stars!

If you’re in the mood for Middle Eastern and want the outdoorsy atmosphere that Gulf Stream provides, this place fits the bill. They can definitely stand to improve the speed of service. I wasn’t impressed with the size of my kebobs (are they even half the size of Kabobji?) and the babaganoush, a staple for me, was bizarrely bland I thought — as were all of the other standards. You’re supposed to *taste* the lemon, and garlic, and salt, and spices. Not here. But my husband likes the Gulf Stream area so when I’m going with him it’s fine. They are still a new restaurant so I’m rooting for them to improve! But as of now, when it’s just me and my daughter we trek out to Kabobji.
Come on guys. Keep whoever sister’s cousin’s brother you have back there in the kitchen, but hire a bona fide chef to come in and refine the recipes. The destination deserves it and the patrons want it.
