I needed to make an exchange for something bought online. The girl at the register was nice but didn’t know how to do it so she called the manager over. The manager came over with an instant attitude and a foul look on her face. She was very short and physical displayed with body language and facial expressions that her assistance wasn’t welcome. Then she just walked away and ignored me. I’ve never had a problem with online returns except at this Petco. People that don’t have emotional intelligence shouldn’t be in management positions. They can bring the entire store down and destroy profits.

Petco seems to have turned into a weird store. I happened to be near this location over the weekend and stopped in because I needed a few cat supplies. They didn’t have the water fountain filters that I needed and they didn’t have a wide variety of cat food. They also will not honor coupons that are on a phone because they said they have to send the coupon to their corporate office and with a phone coupon, there is nothing to send.
The store layout is kind of weird too. Items aren’t logically placed and finding what I was there for wasn’t easy.
The staff was friendly and they did help me find what I was looking for (except for the filters).
I don’t think I wll shop at Petco again for awhile.

Great place for all my pets’ needs. They have good deals in the toy bins where the offer pretty good sales. Their groomer are also pretty good as well. They have a wide selection of good and toys. And my favourite is the Star Wars toys and pet clothing and accessories

They have an OK fish department and try to help homeless pets; I like that about them. The help is always friendly and the prices on food is good; avoid the grooming at all costs.

It’s sort of new, and the store’s neatly organized, but the dog groomers at Petco are atrocious. They fail to cut my dog’s nail, everytime! I’m surprised they’re even licensed to be groomers — it seems like they were just dragged off the street.
If you’re in the East Hallandale/​Hollywood area, I’d recommend going to a local, self-​employed dog groomer (see Craigslist).
