I took my suburban to them. It was having several issues with it and took it to several different mechanics. They found out the problem immediately and took care of it promptly. Their prices are fair and their service was top-​notch. I will recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you for solving a problem that’s been a problem for months.

My family was new to the area and needed a new «neighborhood mechanic».
Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair had great reviews and was right around the corner, so I went there with my first car issue.
I was so happy with the service and the staff that I recommended them to my daughter when she needed a huge repair on her Ford Flex.
I have since gone back for a couple of other issues with my Dodge Avenger, and they are fast — reliable — and friendly.
We are all so happy and relieved to have found our new family garage in our new hometown!
We highly recommend Jeffrey’s to anyone who needs help with their car!

i have been going to Jeffreys off and on for several years. I have always had good service but sometimes i think that they were a little pricey so i would go somewhere else, well the other place fixed my problem and charge less and i was satisfied. well the part broke down about 6 months later and I was stranded without a car. well i called Jeffreys and told to watch for my car. well they got it and fixed it for what they were going to charge in the first place. the car lasted for about 4 more years and I didn’t have that problem again. they have good service pleasant personnel and pretty fast service. if you need a ride home and a ride back in their time restriction they will be happy to drive you. back and forth. will continue to go there. even tho yheir prices are a littlr higher. it is worth the peice of mind that you get

I read all the negative comments here on Unilocal and they are not consistent at all with Google and all the other websites that have ratings. These negative ratings are not indicative of the service I have gotten here so I made an account to give my feedback.
I have taken many cars to Jeffrey’s over the last eight years even though it’s out of my way. They have ALWAYS been fast, honest, and competitively priced. The first time I took a car there was for some random small repair. The mechanic came out and told me I have a small oil leak. Being honest, he told me I could fix it easily now but it really wasn’t a big deal and once I fix it there, it would most likely find another place to leak. Then I’d be chasing leaks everywhere and spending too much $$ on a 15 year old car.
One time, I had a clunker crap out on me on the highway and had the car towed there (pass. side front end + steering pump completely obliterated). Once I got the prognosis I told the service writer I couldn’t afford it. He then worked with me on the service, telling me what parts I could get used and still be OK, what service I needed immediately and what service I could hold off on and still be safe. That cut the immediate bill in two thirds, then I went back and got the rest of the service the car needed.
Yet another time, one of my cars was in the shop and the other one crapped out on me. Jeffrey’s not only stepped up the pace on my first car, but they stayed open a little late (on a Friday) so I could get there and pick up the first car.
TL;DR: Jeffrey’s is a stand-​up auto shop with honest, caring, professional people. Even though it’s out of my way, I take my cars there for just about everything needed.

Have brought four (4) cars and trucks for various work including air conditioning, brakes, front end work and various other problems — have always been given great advice at a low cost. The work has always been completed quickly, and what is most important is that the repair work has always been done correctly to keep my family safe in my automobile. When work has been too costly (in consideration of the age and value of the car or truck) the staff has always let me know and acted with integrity in the interest of the needs of the customer.
Jeffrey’s automotive will not sacrifice integrity for profit. They have my trust.

It’s unfortunate that when people have complaints of unscrupulous business practices at Jefferys Automotive the only response from your desk is «we don’t have a record of your work order» therefore it must not be true? I only hope that you as a vested owner have identified what is really going on in your business which has taken X amount of years to establish a sustainable business but I am sorry to say that might have been the case back in the day when first gen family was running the business. The truth now is that there are elements within your business willing to destroy in short amount of time that which has taken your family many years to build. I have a feeling your response and inquiry to thesr complaints on Unilocal is an indication that this is a serious matter your currently dealing with. Too many people having similar problems with your level of service. Please be aware not all your customers are novices when it comes to their cars. Average Joe does not have a vehicle wheel alignment setup in their garage so we look for an HONEST shop to do the repair. But when that shop disables or breaks sensors to cause a fault to extract more revenue from people that don’t know any better is just unwarranted, unprofessional and bad business practices. I was one of those customers your mechanic and service writer took for granted. But when I caught them and pointed out their indiscretions they opted to pull the «We are a reputable service center base on Christian values» all I can say to those two is you better rethink your values and read up on your holy scriptures. This is not how one should treat thy neighbor.

First and foremost, this place will never find your name in their computer when you leave a negative feedback after a horrible experience.
I got a $ 45 alignment coupon for this place from Discount Tires. When I got there, they told me I need a feft front off set ball joint and right rear camber arm to fix my car from pulling to the right and this cost me over $ 700. I did this and my car still pulls to the right. I brought it back and the mechanic said the old tires was pulling it, so I spend $ 400 for new tires and it still pulling to the right just like when I brought it in. Then they said now I need the off set ball joint for the right side. By this time, I have lost confidence in what they telling me because I have spend over $ 1100 and my car still pull just like the beginning so how I can believe changing out the right side ball joint will fix it? I talked to the customer service guy and he was rude and blew me off and the manager basically said there is nothing he could do. As far as I am concern, I have wasted over $ 1100 of my money changing out thing that did not need to be changed out. This place just handed out coupon for cheap alignment to make up major repair to take your money. And their mechanics are incompetent and was unable to pinpoint the real problem to fix my car (they had two different mechanics look at my car during the three times I brought my vehicle back). I feel bad for anyone to bring their car here because they will rip you off.
Stay away from this place…

We took a car in to have it looked at for an overheating issue. We initially replaced the thermostat, but was still having problems. While talking to them on the phone, I mentioned that I thought it needed a new radiator and possibly a water pump, but they insisted on running a $ 25.00 diagnostic on it first.
During their test, they found out that the radiator cap didn’t have a proper seal due to a worn out gasket. They offered to replace it, but told me that we could probably do it ourselves for less than they were charging. We picked up a new cap and haven’t had a problem with it since.
Considering that we were already mentally prepared to fork over the money for more expensive repairs, it was very refreshing to get an honest analysis of the problem. They could have ripped us off to the tune of several hundred dollars, but they chose to go the honest route.
Kudos.

Me and my mom decided to take my car here to do check ups and alignments, that was the third time there. It was very surprising that they did not actually inspect my car but to send my mom an email saying $ 2000 needed to be paid to fix my car but it is way too much to pay to fix and felt like they are trying to black our money so we decided to go to good year. It is way better there, the mechanic over there actually checked my car out and only $ 680 needed to be paid to get my car fixed.
What does that mean to you?
1. They are not professionals
2. They are scams and fake that are trying to steal your money
3. Getting your car fixed here may cause more problems.
I have already warned you, go there at your own risk.

My first time at Jeffrey’s today, went based on recommendations from the guys at my Discount Tire. It was the first service on my ’07 Trailblazer in 4 years. The service writer Andy was helpful and up front on what it could have been and what their approach would be. He called with the update and price options as promised and had me ready to drive home at 530p! Cost was more reasonable than quotes from several other locations. They even threw in a price special on the alignment service since I was referred from DT. I hope that I don’t need to see them again for many many miles… but when that time comes I will be back!

Found out about Jefferies from a co-​worker. He recommended I take my car there for A/​C repair. After calling them, I felt they were extremely nice and efficient. A little pricey on the initial quote but I needed to get the work done quickly and while I was at work. Dropped my car off first thing in the A/​M and was told they would call me b4 they start any repairs… mind you this was a simple A/​C and brake job. No word for hours. I called in at 1… was told I’d hear back within the hour. FINALLY got a call at 3:30 to tell me they had just finished CHECKING my car…$ 2100 for front pads/​rotors and a A/​C compressor. I get there minutes later to pick up my car because now it is too late in the day to start repairs and I am told «that will be $ 60.81»…for WHAT??? They held onto my car ALL day. NO repairs were done. NO communication during the day to let me know ANYTHING. NO mention of the cost associated with simply CHECKING my car. To make matters worse, they couldnt find my car when I was trying to leave. 2 guys had to come out to help search for it. The service was HIGHLY disappointing and first impressions are EVERYTHING… especially when there are mechancis on literally every corner. I cant comment on the work they do because I would never pay the prices they are asking. I am extremely disappointed and will not be back.

I had several experiences with Jeffrey’s auto a few years ago, and i would like to share them. I had a 1993 Honda civic, which was definitely used, but still in very good shape and it had relatively low miles for the age. I took it to Jeffrey’s several times because it was close to my mom’s house.
I will say I have no complaints about the prices, but the quality was a major problem. After about a year of going to them for repairs, I started to notice the parts were consistently breaking after about 4 or 5 months, which the warranties happened to only be 3 months. I also have had no problems with the customer service, but the aftermarket parts used are definitely of inferior quality and do not last long. I will NEVER return.

These guys live their values! I’ve been bringing our multiple vehicles here for service for several years, after being overcharged at a «Christian» auto service business. The Jeffrey’s team has always treated us fairly and respectfully (including my wife and daughter).
We’ve had maintenance and repair work done here on domestic and foreign vehicles, including a new transmission installed, and will keep coming back.
Pros: Courteous, prompt, professional, reasonable.
Cons: It always stinks to have to get your car or truck repaired (but this is the place to get it done).
