Stopped by their booth at the Rochester Home & Garden show and entered a contest to win money towards new windows and doors. Was contacted a few days later and agreed to an in-​home estimate on new windows for my home. When I was contacted as a reminder the day before the appointment, the gentleman on the phone said he’d be there the next day to speak to my husband and me. When I told him that my husband is gone for months with the Army, the gentleman tried to reschedule for a time that my husband would be home, basically refusing to come do the estimate if it was just me. When I told him I found this offensive (as my interpretation is they want the «man of the house» to be there to make decisions, since I may not be capable), he mumbled half an apology and something about it being «company policy.» Needless to say I cancelled my appointment, and they won’t be getting any of my money.
