They lock their doors 30 min early. Tells you all you need to know about their idea of customer service. Won’t be trying here again.

Despite all the mixed reviews, I wanted to check this place out. Location has a private lot and you can park in the front or the back of the store because it has two entrances. They have all kinds of sandwiches to choose from but I did not feel rush to place my order. I placed my order and paid once it was done. I ordered a primo ham and cheese diablo with lettuce, onions, tomatos, and vinegar. As you can see in the picture I posted, it was a nice size. Well I was able to finish ¾ of it and I was stuffed. It was very good and taste way different then the other subs I have eaten. Would I repeat? Yes. Why not Five Stars? Sub was $ 8.50 not including the soda and chips which came out to over $ 10. All in all a good spot to eat.

I really do like Primo but this location is not a gem. Hours aren’t great on the weekend. Staff has been rude on multiple occasions. Service was anything but friendly. Final straw was a recent visit where they should have been open but upon arrival there was a sign on the door window saying closed… cool, you want to give your employees an early closing then put it on your voicemail at the store. This happened more than once. I drive a little further down the street to Classic Sub Shop. 100% consistency there!

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I not only received horrible service from the staff but in particular the OWNER himself. When the made a sandwich incorrectly and delivered it to my job, the phone order taker actually said«we’re busy, we’ll just make it up to you next time.» After insisting that the proper sandwich be delivered, I was told it will take an hour. The OWNER himself re-delivered the sandwich. After meeting him in the lobby at the hospital, he demanded I return back up to the department to retrieve the sandwich and absolutely refused to give me the new sandwich until then. Needless to say, word travels fast at my job.

I agree with Arthur and Melissa as well. Primo’s is AMAZING. This Primo’s is not. Lacking in every department. Will most definitely go to the Ewing Primo’s from now on. Better service, better quality and they put customer satisfaction first, unlike this place.

I have been in this place 3 or 4 times. I went in the last time and will definitely be my last. I ordered a hoagie and had to wait 15 minutes for an Italian hoagie. The people who work there are very very rude! The sandwiches are not bad but you have to wait 15 minutes even when there is not a single person in front of you! I will never go in there again and suggest you don’t either unless you want to wait and be treated like they are doing you a favor.

Love the Roast Beef Primo Hoagies. We place a phone order and pick up, our order is always correct and the people are happy and friendly. What else could you ask for when you want a quick lunch?.

I agree with Arthur P. I like Primo’s but this location sucks!!! I went around 12:30 today and ordered a small Mild Sharp Italian. It took about 15 minutes to make and it wasn’t like it was mobbed in there. When I did get it, they made it on a regular roll not a seeded roll. It hardly had any tomatoes and the cheese was cut really thick. It was not what I was used to. Also, the bathroom was really dirty, like dirt on the walls dirty. The tables were all dirty too. I was sooo not impressed with this place. I will never go back there. The Ewing, NJ location is way better!!!

Chicken cutlets are great and awesome catering trays. It is on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. The fresh mozzarella is great

Primo hoagies makes an awesome sandwich. However, the customer service I received on my last visit at this location was so poor it has earned 1 star from me. I ordered a sandwich for pickup and came to the shop with only a credit card unaware of their required $ minimum(which is more than a sandwich). I handed they guy behind the counter my credit card and I immediately received an attitude. Again — I was unaware of their CC minimum and if it was explained to be nicely I would have purchased chips or something else to put me over the limit. This guy, whom I believe was the owner, proceeds to go on a rant as he swipes my card is disgust. In front of other customers and the staff at the shop he says its people like me that make running his shop so difficult and continues to go on about how I should be aware of the shops rules. I was in disbelief. It must be even more difficult to run your shop when customers, like me, stop showing up. I highly recommend checking out the Little King Sandwich shop directly across the street from this place. The sandwiches are even better, just as big, and it’s a little mom & pop place and not a corporate franchise.

Been looking for a good sandwich place in this area for a while. The diablo sandwiches are great. Tried the turkey diablo and the italian diablo. Yummy! With pickles and the potato salad, can’t lose.

Love Primo’s and this is our home base for Primo’s since it’s closest to our abode. We don’t dabble in different types of sandwiches, we stick with their best offering, the turkey diablo. Love the spice, the crusty roll, the generous helping of turkey. It’s a delicious sandwich which the whole family enjoys, a rarity for sure. We never agree on food! Why not 5 stars? The prices are a bit high for a sandwich and their hours are not great. There have been so many times when we’ve been dying for a diablo only to find them closed. 5:00 on a Saturday? Worse yet, 4:00 on a Sunday??? Who does that? People get hungry on the weekends, too!

It’s so hard for me to write this review, because I’m literally sucking back drool. The pickles… the macaroni salad… the potato salad… I didn’t even get into the sandwiches yet. OMG. YUM. I’ll tell you something about New Yorkers, they have a very difficult time admitting anything in New Jersey is good, or better than what is in New York. PRIMO’S HOAGIESINNJISAMAZING. Thank god I got a chance to house a couple of these things in my life, I can’t wait to murder 15 more. I ask my boyfriend to take me to this place on a Saturday night, legit. I consider myself(loosely) to be a vegetarian… I would eat anything on this menu. The diablo hoagies are where it’s at. The bread, the ingredients, the spice — perfect amount of heat, the toppings… fresh, perfect. Top it off with any of those side salads. Okay need to stop now so the drooling ends. One negative — not open late. FML. AMAZING.

Primo as a chain is generally a safe bet for a good quality sandwich, albeit at slightly inflated prices. This location, however, is an exception. Based on other Primo experiences, I wrote off my first sub-par sandwich there as an off night. Two more disappointing visits later, I’m ready to say it is simply the employees at this location who create an inferior product. If you’re more about ambiance, don’t fret, because their service which runs from indifferent to straight out rude will also leave you feeling disappointed. All the reviewers who are raving about this place need to take the short drive down to Little King to see what a quality product served with pride looks like. Heck, I’d much rather go to Wawa than this Primo, at least the price is right, the hours are good, and there’s no delusions of grandeur there.

I LOVEPRIMO. I HATE this Primo. Went here recently(only my 3rd time here) and I knew in advance I should have went somewhere else. Order a Primo Buffalo Cutlet. Talk about bad!!! They clearly do not follow the Primo recipe here and poured on way too much buffalo sauce. This sandwich was basically bread covered in Buffalo sauce with some chicken. As for the chicken, I also didnt like the fact that it came out burnt in some parts. I get the sign they have up that says SOMETHING along the lines of our Chicken sandwiches are made to order so thank you for the wait… but man, for the wait, this place is no where near as good as some of the other Primo’s I have been too. Will not go back. Will drive to the Ewing store instead — they know their stuff there and there is no wait during a lunch crowd. Oh, it doesnt help that the staff is semi-rude too, but whatever — make a good sandwich and I will not be concerned about that. This place needs a good franchise visit and re-training.

Best hoagies in the area! They are overpriced but worth it! If you like a spicy sandwich, go for a diablo, they are Kick ass! Great for football season.

It’s a chain I’ve always wanted to try, and the sandwiches were really good, EXCEPT, I prefer a softer sub roll. My son has braces, and he was freaking out about messing them up on the«hard bread.» Didn’t stop him from polishing off a «Big T,» though! Overall, it’s EASILY got Quizno’s and Subway beat in terms of meat quality, flavor, and quantity. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to Primo again — if it’s on the way to where I’m going, SURE.

Probably the best Italian sub I’ve ever had in my life. And it’s not really close. That’s taking into account the subs from Graham Avenue Meats and Deli. IT’S NOTCLOSE. Primo makes that place look like a Subway. The NY food snob in me always just assumed NY had the best of everything. But honestly I would let this place cater my wedding. It is simply amazing. The ingredients are top notch. The bread is fresh and perfect. And they have like a 5 man team work on making each order so even the most complex subs are made quickly and with precision. It makes Princeton like half as depressing as it actually is.
