The Bridal Suite

If zero stars were an option i would give it that. Ordered my belt for my gown over a year before my wedding paid the 680 $ in cash. Was told my belt would be in within 6 months. 6 weeks before my wedding I still had no belt. I purchased my dress somewhere else and had to do all my fittings with no belt. Multiple calls were made I kept getting bullshit responses «not in yet», «still at warehouse», «should be in tomorrow» after them ignoring my calls and never returning them, finally had to have my mom call and tell them off telling them that if we didn’t have our belt in hand next week we wanted a full refund (at this point it was 2 weeks before my wedding) this place is a joke, horrible customer service scam artists have heard multiple people complain orders were wrong things never came in. I did end up with my belt a week before my wedding, it was beautiful, but they jerked me around so much. No reason it took over a year for a belt to come in. Clearly they messed up on something and never placed my order. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Heard they changed their name to bridal suite boutique and now have a new location, a lot of shady business. STAY AWAY PEOPLE.

Ordered bridesmaids dresses from this shop, and they mixed up my dress and someone else’s in our party.
We have about as opposite a body type as you can imagine. I am an E cup, she is a B cup. When I tried on the wrong dress and expressed concern I was told by the salesperson that I must have gained weight and that she might be able to have the dress altered but only at a high cost. That, and she suggested I go on a diet. Just beyond rude. I was so upset! Went in with the other girl who figured out that dresses had been mixed up, because at that time she tried hers on and was swimming in the top. Salespersons excuse was that the dresses were so alike, she got confused. Um, they are bridesmaids dresses, shouldn’t she be used to dealing with dresses that look alike? Just rude, unprofessional and nasty.

The Bridal Suite was recommended to me by a teacher whose daughter had purchased her dress there as well. She had so many positive things to say I figured I would give it a shot. When arriving there everyone was very nice and friendly and listened to the requests that I had for my dress. I worked with Kim and the dresses she had me try on were great and exactly what I was interested in. Being someone who is not a sample size was hard at most of the other shops I had already been to. At the Bridal Suite I was able to try on dresses that actually fit me and gave me a much better vision of how I would look on my wedding day. I fell in love with a Maggie Sottero dress, but I wasn’t sure if this was MY dress yet. Kim wasn’t pushy at all and even let me know that the following weekend there was a trunk show for Maggie Sottero and that they are offering a discount on all of her dresses. So I took the week to think about it and knowing I couldn’t get this dress out of my head I knew it was the one for me. I went back the following weekend with my mom and my sister and they both loved the dress. Seeing it one last time sealed the deal for me and I ordered it that day. Kim was awesome to work with and even sent me a personal Thank You note for purchasing my dress with them. Anyone who is looking for a wedding dress I highly recommend this shop to everyone. I am from south jersey and this trip was well worth the drive!

A cute little bridal shop that has a lovely selection of gowns under $ 2k. The first floor is simple, but the second floor has a runway which is super fun for trying on dresses. The staff was super accommodating, friendly and helpful and not at all pushy.
During the appointment, my sister tried on a ton of dresses (almost 20) and there was no rush at all. While my sister ended up not purchasing the dress at The Bridal Suite (we live in NY), it was a very pleasant shopping experience.

So I have a lot to say about this place that I do not feel comfortable saying in a review and future brides take that as you want. I ordered 4 bill levkoff bridesmaids dresses from this place in March of 2014– a good 8 months before my November wedding. I told the woman who took our money– because trust me you are not getting any type of consultation at this place– you might as well go to macys for assistance in choosing a bridesmaids dress because they would probably give you more guidance– so the «cashier» at this establishment assured me that the dresses would most likely be in by July– at the latest– a good 4 months post order. Which based on my experience as a bridesmaid is pretty typical for BIll Levkoff… so a bride with 3 girls who do not live in the state was her dresses expecting a July– maybe August delivery date to be cautious. Imagine my frustration (which is an understatement) when those dresses arrived in my mother’s hand after some 20 phone calls on October 2, 2014. A good 7 months after I ordered them, and 4 weeks before my wedding. And they will tell you when you inform them about the countless other horrible reviews about their store that people didn’t have their whole party their when they ordered so they order the day the last girl comes in for a fitting– and I did not have my whole bridal party there– but my sister came in to the salon a mere 3 days after we put the initial order in. So one of their many excuses as to why my dresses were not in had to do with the fact that all my girls did not order on the same day… but my sister was there 3 days later. Along with that excuse the manager «Kim» (who was for lack of a better phrase the rudest person I have ever come in contact with) gave myself, my mother, and my bridesmaid who called to check on the dress that she paid a lot of money for and was told they only speak to the bride— excuses ranged from a UPS shut down which was false– literally just false– to a port strike in California which ended in July 2014 and was virtually insignificant since I ordered several items that summer for my wedding that shipped on time. I know why my dresses did not come in until 4 weeks before my wedding– but for the sake of ignorance I am not going to say why in this review. but future brides in the area just know– it might seem like a good idea to order your bridesmaids or god forbid your wedding dress here because the store has a wonderful selection and is cute and somewhat welcoming (until after they have your money) but just don’t. There are hundreds of other stores that have the same dresses that will get you those dresses in a normal time frame with plenty of time for alternations and peace of mind. This place has absolutely the rudest staff I have ever come in contact with– I have gotten better service at a McDonalds. And you will not get your dresses when you are expecting them. Please save yourself the heartache– stress– and absolute desperation that you might feel if you choose to use this place to order your bridesmaids dresses. The dresses were beautiful– everything I ever wanted– but do yourself a favor and order them from another store–

One of my bridesmaids purchased their dress from this store for my August wedding. She went to this store because it was closer to her home and easier for her to attend fittings and other appointments. She ordered her dress in March or April… well in advance of our wedding in August. She paid for her dress in full the day they took her measurements. We were told the dress would be in and they would schedule the fitting for June or July. We were fine with that and my bridesmaid simply waited on them to notify her of when the dress came in. Well in July… no dress… August…no dress!!! August 10^th no dress and the wedding was 6 days away… we were very upset. The worst part about it was that they were not very helpful in accommodating up to make the situation better. They said the dress went to another store and it was a mistake… we wanted to know how they would help to ensure that the dress arrived in time for the wedding??? Not to mention alterations!!! Well August 14^th – 2 days away… no dress. So we asked if they would do the alterations for free when the dress came in so that my bridesmaid could still be in the wedding… they said no. They didn’t even offer a discount. Well, thank GOD the dress arrived the night before the wedding August 15^th. My bridesmaid had to pay a seamstress to do the alteration in excess of 200 $ because she needed it done the same night. The Bridal Suite did not care nor did they offer to assist. It was a nightmare. I would NOT recommend this place… you will be sorry.

We ordered bridesmaid dresses from here back in March — they said that under the worst circumstances, they should be in about 4 weeks before the wedding (wedding was the second weekend in August). What really ended up happening is that the dresses didnt get in until about 1 week before the wedding — no compensation for that and the only thing that they offered was to not charge us a fee for rush alterations… ridiculous. The fact that it took so long for the dresses to come in wasnt a HUGE problem. The problem here was the sheer rudeness of the staff during the situation. For instance, the Bride was extremely stressed out bc everytime she asked about the status of the dresses, they told her not to worry and that they should be in the following week — these convos went on frequently for about 5 weeks. Finally when I called to try and get the story about the dresses, I was directed to a woman named Kim who told me that she refused to talk to me about the status and that their policy is to only talk to the bride. So — they had no problems talking to me while they were taking my credit card information to charge me for the dress however they refused to give me a status of it — makes zero sense to me. Another problem, they encouraged some of the girls to pay an additional fee to add length to their dresses and when the dresses ended up coming in, they were so long that the girls then had to pay for the alterations to get the length taken back off. Overall, not happy with the service here — I would suggest shopping around.

Future brides-​do not go to the bridal suite until you read all of the reviews. My daughter ordered her bridesmaids dresses in November. They came in today. That’s 10 months later! When her maid of honor called to check on the dresses, the person answering the phone was rude. My daughter was told that there was nothing that could be done for them to compensate for the delay. The girl who waited on them was also rude. If you’re above a size 4, there won’t be a dress for you to try on. Go to David’s bridal. They are incredibly easy to do business with!

ok this place is terrible. dresses fine but ridic overpriced and KIM SUCKS. she NEVER calls you back and makes you feel like a psycho because you want your dress prior to 3 weeks before the wedding. they are rude little snots and although they may have the style you want you are way better off getting it somewhere else. also with 7 bridesmaids she offered only 10 or 15% off. most other places are 20−25%. the worst.

Had a NOT so great experience at The Bridal Suite. The woman who waited on me and my sister while we were looking for bridesmaids dresses was somewhat snooty and when we asked if she had a strapless/​backless bra that I could use while trying on dresses she said «No» and looked at me like I was crazy for asking. Sorry but every bridal shop I have ever been to has bras for trying on dresses — most of us don’t walk around wearing strapless backless corset bras. The kicker was that all of their dresses were priced $ 40 higher than we had seen them at other shops. We ordered the dress we found at The Bridal Suite from a different shop for $ 40 less and got much better service.

Stay away! The customer service here is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced in a bridal salon. The owner is as phony as they come, and their «rules» change according to what suits them at the moment. They gave me the run around for weeks about when my bridesmaids’ dresses would arrive, and gave multiple excuses. They are made in China and the plant closes for 6 weeks in January, we ordered late (which we didn’t), UPS hasn’t come yet, only the owner can give you that info and she’s not here, you can’t call to find out, you have to email to ask about your dresses, only the bride can email to ask about the dresses… I have literally heard all of those! Now, 3.5 weeks from my wedding (and supposedly when they would be here, and the latest they are guaranteed to arrive) I call the salon only to have the owner herself disguise her voice and pretend to be someone else! It wouldn’t be so terrifying if they would at least acknowledge your concern and reassure you, instead of dodging you.

I just had a great experience looking at bridesmaid dresses here. The dress consultant was helpful in suggesting styles to try and keeping track of what styles we liked best. The store was immaculately clean and well organized with a wide variety. Looking forward to coming back with my sister, the bride, to make a final decision.

The store is somewhat large, has an upstairs for brides and downstairs for bridesmaids. I went shopping for a wedding gown for my sister. She scheduled her appointment in advance and was put trying on her wedding gown in the downstairs bridesmaid section. Whenever someone came in the door they would walk right through where we were attempting to view her dresses. The women was very unprofessional never greeting us only said «where is your wedding» and «do you have pictures» to my sister. She acted like we were a bother rushing my sister through dresses and stopping to greet other customers as they were walking in the door and answering the phone. She even left us for a period of time to attend to a young looking sales associate who had no idea what she was doing and kept asking for help. She did not buy the dress that day and will not purchase it there due to lack of customer service.
I am also getting married and will not come here for my dress because of poor customer service.
