Phillip Colwart Photography

I have been able to refer Phillip on a few occasions for event and wedding photography. He is a respected professional who takes his work seriously and has a great sense of humor. My referrals have been very happy and raved about the results. I highly recommend his services.

Phillip Colwart has an amazing talent. I was extremely impressed with the work he did for my family. I get many compliments on the pictures he has taken for us. He made my family feel extremely comfortable at his studio and when he came on location to capture pictures of our newborn son and the rest of our family. His pictures are truly a work of art. I can’t wait for him to take our family pictures again!

The only reason that I am giving 2 stars and not one is because the photographs that were taken were beautifully done. However, having said that, the outcome of our «wedding album proof book» resembled my Sophomore year high school year book with 6 thumbnails per page. So small, my husband asked me to load the disc so he could see the photos as the album was useless. We also requested a couple of photos be deleted from our online photo gallery due to our personal preference and our photographer then included them in the permanent wedding album. One would think if the bride and groom didn’t want them included in the online gallery, that common sense would tell you that it not be included in the permanent photo album. Delete means delete, no? Yet when I asked him why on earth he would have included the pictures we felt so strongly about we asked him to delete them, he responded with a lengthy, insulting, condescending email insisting his neighbors didn’t see anything wrong with the pictures and telling us all the reasons he was in the right. Unprofessional hardly covers it. Also, be warned if you do use this photographer’s services, don’t accept him as a friend on Facebook. He will start tagging you and your friends in your photos before you and your spouse have the ability to even view your online gallery. There are better photographers with better services for less cost out there. Hindsight is ²⁰⁄₂₀ but I would rather have asked a friend to photograph our wedding.
