Velasquez Mufflers 4 Less

I’m a mechanical engineer specializing in building automobiles and repairing them. I barely use shops, for me the only services I need are tire replacement front end alignments and exhaust repair. Mainly because I don’t have the machines that specialize in those categories. So after I replaced the steering and suspension components on the front of my FORD van I needed an alignment. I used this shop previously to weld a new muffler on and the price was reasonable with a warranty. So I came back. They did the alignment and got it close. But for me close isn’t good enough so I returned to tell them that and have them re-​align my front end. It’s an easy job, probably the easiest job to perform in a shop. The guy responds to me saying I’m not going to realign your van because I won’t warranty your van because the wheels are chrome. They screw up my alignment and REFUSE to re do it. Won’t even discount charge. NOPE THEY WANT FULL PRICE TO RE-​DO A REPAIR THEY SCREWED UP. Bottom line. And the weld job they did on my shocks is sub par big time. They didn’t even weld what I told them to weld. Even though I had it set up the way I wanted. All they had to do was weld a spot. The muffler job they did was just ok. It started getting loud and I brought it in for the 3^rd visit. He tells me my Cadillacic converter is leaking because of rust and I’d need a new clamp hardware set. Charge? He wanted to replace the cat and hardware 400 $ he says. I said no. Then I repaired it myself with two nuts that costed 3 $. And there’s no leak in the converter. BUYER BEWARE.

Well I previously… yesterday in fact had rated them 5 stars. This place previoulsy had done a good job on replacing my breaks and I went back yesterday because my brakes had again gotten to the point where they needed to be replaced… I really hate to give them one star now but they COULD OF KILLED ME AND SOMEONE ELSE. The MECHANIC DID A FRONT BRAKE JOB ON MY CAR AND HE FORGOT TO TIGHTEN UP THE LUG NUTS AND HE SENT ME ON MY WAY. I WAS TOTALLY DOING 70MPH WITH LOOSE LUG NUTS! I COULD OF ENDED UP DEAD. LUCKY FOR ME THE WHEEL DIDNT FALL OFF… IT ALMOST DID… THREE LUG NUTS GONE AND SOME SERIOUS WOBBELING IN THE STEERING WHEEL FORCED ME TO PULL OVER LUCKY IT WAS IN FRONT OF A TIRE AND MUFFLER SHOP… THAT PLACE TIGHTEN MY LUG NUTS FOR FREE! I WENT BACK TO THE BRAKE SHOP I PREVIOUSLY WENT TO LET THEM KNOW THEY COULD OF BLOODY KILLED SOMEONE! THEY REPLACED MY LUG NUTS AND I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE… THEY HAD MY CAR BEING EXAMINED FOR ABOUT AN HOUR… AND HE TRIED TO LIE AND SAY HE TORQUED THEM. I SAID NO YOU DIDNT IF YOU HAD TORQUED THEM WHERE ARE MY THREE MISSING LUG NUTS… WHY DID MY TIRE ALMOST FALL OFF? HE SAID NOTHING… HE REPLACED MY LUG NUTS… ANYONE CAN MAKE A MISTAKE BUT IT COST SOMEONE THERE LIFE… THATS A HELL OF A MISTAKE.
