A lot of fun! Awesome art work, friendly people, and THIRDTHURSDAYS are a lot of fun! Also they have lots of festivals and events, I’ve gotten my art framed here and they are so nice and helpful and professional

Had to swing in for a project related to a Humanities class for finals. I was surprised by the sheer volume of art work,(its a gallery I realize, but there was a little bit of everything, paintings, sketches, pottery, jewelery, photography), assorted throughout a fairly medium sized space. I was fascinated by all this local artistic expression, and began detailing numerous elements for the project. So we were welcomed within a few moments of stepping into the place. Nothing exceptional, just your standard«hey, lemme know if you have questions.’ In retrospect, it would have been nicer to have met with a more engaging individual who might have suggested a particular piece or artist du jour, perhaps pointed out their own personal favorite, something. but whatever. Pricing was all over the place. I enjoy the thought of supporting local work and owning a unique piece, but $ 400 for an amateur watercolor is a bit steep, especially for the countless students likely visiting. some of the pottery was reasonable, but even the smaller prints were a bit outlandish. again, if we had some info, background or something, perhaps it would have justified the pricing. but no such luck… overall it was a nice visit, but the place could definitely use some revision. perhaps reassess how the space is utilized to offer a better method to view as well as promote the displayed work. offer some information on the artists or the hosted themes. maybe cluster similar works and categories? map out or align your fixtures and displays to have some more cohesion for visitors to make their way around. All this considered, its still a nice spot to visit as you make your way around town.
