Adventure Paddleboards is a family-owned and –operated paddleboarding and kayak business located on Shinnecock Bay in Hampton Bays at the beautiful Inn Spot on the Bay. With breathtaking views of the Ponquogue Bridge, abundant wildlife, and magical creeks, our location can’t be beat! Founded in 2012, we have taught over 1,000 people to stand up paddleboard (SUP), ages 5 to 75. We love sharing our passion for stand up paddleboarding, our local waterways, and respect for nature. Whether you are looking for a new experience, fitness, or just an escape, SUP provides all of the above. Stand up paddleboarding is a full body workout while still being relaxing — a complete mind/body experience. Take your fitness to a whole new level and get outside. Our certified fitness instructors will make you not want to go back into a gym until October!

Join us every Wednesday Night from 6 – 10 pm for Live Music, food truck, Full Bar, Firepits and paddle as the sun sets over the bay! Great family night ! Beginng June 24^th, 2015

Cherryl B.

Business Owner

Cherryl Bradley, a former professional dancer/choreographer naturally took to stand up paddleboarding. Cherryl toured with Ringling Bros, Seasame Street live, and has performed stand up comedy. Her free spirit and love for adventure turned her passion for SUP, and teaching, into a fun and exciting business. Originally from Queens NY, Cherryl spent 20 years in Southern California raising her 3 children. She lives on the North Fork and is grateful for the opportunity to bring friends and families together with this wonderful new sport!

Cherryl is a pleasure. I rent SUP’s every summer from her. I rented for the Memorial Day weekend and she dropped the SUP’s off at my house! If you are going to paddle around the shop, she is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and where to paddle. Perfect place for sunset paddles! Thanks again.

We rented an inflatable stand up paddle board from Adventure Paddleboards for a week this summer and would definitely rent from them again. It’s a small local business and the owner was very knowledgable about paddle boarding and able to make recommendations to meet our specific needs. They also offer excursions and SUP yoga classes which we didn’t have time to try out but would want to look into the next time we are in Southampton. Great choice for a variety of rental options and a great way to support local business!

I did the yoga session and regular rental and it was amazing! Great vibe. It’s one of the cheaper places in the Hamptons but the service definitely doesn’t lack and the instructors are awesome!

This was my first time paddle borading and it was really cool. The owner was really helpful. You can tell she really loves her job. After our lesson we went out for about an hour. Turned out to be a great workout. Overall a lot of fun.

Who knew this hidden gem offered such a magical Experience. If you blink you might miss this place so keep your eyes open! we went on a Wednesday night and it was awesome. Live music, outdoor seating and a kiosk bar paired with a food truck was great. it was $ 25 an hour (an hour was just enough for us first timers) and the owner gave us a lesson… she was super cool and laid back and ‘showed us the way!’. So we paddle boarded on a smooth bay night and were able to enjoy the music while watching the sunset from the water which was pretty phenomenal. Then we changed quick and got drinks and food. The drinks were great and the food was pretty good but it was expensive-but hey, location location location! Food truck portions are small-but you MUST try the turkey Brie-it was outrageous! And worth it. Check out the inside of the hotel it’s pretty special. Can’t wait to go back and hope this place doesn’t go all Hollywood!

Well i went out looking for a place to rent some kyacks and came across this place and i am glad i did very professional owners and associates were very helpful with showing us some great tips. I visited this location with my son and totally enjoyed the experience. Also spoke with the owner and she explained to me and my son about paddle boarding and we will deffinately visit this location again and would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

GREAT place to go and rent paddleboards and kayaks. The paddle boarding launch area shares space with an inn/restaurant that also hosts their food truck on Wednesday nights along with live music. The sunsets are incredible as the location overlooks the bay and Ponquogue Bridge.
Cheryl, the owner, of AP is super nice and will give you a nice little rundown on how to paddle board before you get going.

Ok so, this was my 1^st time paddle boarding and I have to say it was great ! The owner of AP is wonderful and really loves her job, which is probably why she is super sweet and a great instructor. After our 30 min lesson we got to board out for 1 hr (great workout) and try our new skills-SUPER FUN
If you are ever in the area and looking for a little adventure try AP, I promise you will not be disappointed.
