I come here often to pay my over priced cable bill. Staff is always friendly and the wait time isn’t bad. Depending on the time of day parking can be a challenge.

Unfortunately I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with Cox. I’m still a sub but only cause I have no other option. They seem to know this cause they don’t seem to care at all what kind of service I get. The internet constantly drops off. I call for an upgrade, they schedule it, I loose sleep to be available(I work nights) and they never show up. I call and find out they were never going to show cause they the receptionist told me it was scheduled it actually wasn’t. God I fucking hate this shitty service. If only they give a shit. Even just a little.

Other than having to pay bills here, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all they have to offer. The layout of the store is nice, it is neat and clean. Of course I don’t enjoy paying the bills, who does, but I like the store.

So you need an Internet Service Provider for your residence? Currently the two most competitive and reliable companies in Hampton Roads are Cox and Verizon? I have cox which I hate! Currently, the best price and competitive monopolies in HR are cox and verizon. Cox internet premier service only with a download speed of 15MB and 5MB upload speed cost $ 45, but there is a data usage limit of 150GB approximately if 1HD movie of netflix = 5GB then you can watch 30 without cox notifying you that you have exceeded you data plan service limit… but wait you can upgrade to another plan… blah, blah, blah. OK, with verizon you can get the same plan for $ 50 if you are lucky. There usually like to bundle the service with TV and phone service, but the good thing about verizon fios according to all the research I’ve done is they do not have data plan limits. Good luck on your ISP hunt.

Oh this has been a long time coming. I would go with Verizon if I could. I have had Verizon and AT&T. Both were great and way cheaper! One time cox came to setup at my first place, the tech did not bring his own tools. Then wanted to upsell me stuff. I went to the store and cancel that day. They still charged me fees and install. I fought it and then they billed me for service I did not have for the next two months. If it is your last resort then go with cox. Avoid the store even more so. Poor customer service and long lines. –Rooster
